  1. I don't think I need to go into hyping up this driver, I think you all know it. The Ryoma D-1 is of the most highly acclaimed drivers ever. Do a search on the reviews on this site if you don't know... This club was shipped brand new from Japan 2 weeks ago. I have 2, I'm selling my backup. I wanted to try 2 different lofts. It has been hit maybe a total of 30 times, but due to the extreme quality of this club you can barely tell it's ever been out of the wrapper. It comes with the stock shaft, Graphite Tour AD made for Ryoma S flex. As you can imagine for a $1,200 driver they did not go cheap on the shaft. Asking $999 shipped! This thing will not last long!!! I'm a long time TSG member but have not been that active on the boards lately. I have a very strong reputation for doing good business. You can check my feedback on eBay sho.nuff 100% positive feedback! Buy with confidence!
  2. Sorry boys... I'm retired, my ho days are over. this is the only set I put my name on.... These are the 2005 custom CB with custom Classic CB The finish is Chrome with nickel underlay.
  3. Chris that's the same as the ion, looks just like the one they have at my local golf shop, it's silver but at certain angles looks black. Unless your shaft is all black and those pics above don't represent the shaft that you have..
  4. My friend just had his sticks jacked out of his car. The one thing that he really misses is this fw that his uncle's friend gave to him. It was a tour only painted face royal collection. It's a few years old, he can't remember the model number so I figured I'd try here. anyone know what it is? He said it was a rounder shaped head, and all the edges were more rounded off. Supposidly this head is very rare, and even tour players can't seem to be able to find it. He's seen my type h before so it's not that, and the painted face has me thrown off... I was thinking kasco kp-99 when he started describing it, but he said it's not that round, more like the sonartech ss3.5.
  5. I thought that Plaza golf got that putter from DaDriver. I'm pretty sure I remember DaDriver selling that putter to that guy at Plaza. The 50k price tag means it's not really for sale...
  6. My frien just picked up the irons, I hit them on the range the other day, they are money, but not very forgiving at all. I'm pretty happy though, cause he was playing mp-33's before played to about a 6 handi to my 9, which usually played out and I lost... now he's more like an 11 muahahahahhahahahahahaha
  7. I thought I replied to this... weird... anyway... if he's anything like my dad, who's about 4 handi plays graphite shafts in his irons and is about club longer than me, but I'm way longer with the driver. I attribute this to the reg flex graphite shafts that he's made work for him. Anyway if he's anything like my dad who used to play BBB, he won't like the deep faces or bigger heads in general. I would either stick with callaway and find a tour callaway or pro series (only square heads) or just get him a 983k. Pretty close to square and not too big. The smaller cleveland head is pretty cool, but you need to go through them to find one that sets up square.
  8. Dude, I just read your post about sticking your wedge into your water softner... ARE YOU CRAZY???? Isn't that the water you drink? You know it's not good to drink rust right? There are probably chems in there to clean the water as well... but dude you're insane!!! Going with DaDriver CSI investigation thing, is Chris liable? LOL
  9. stuff 4 grams of cotton into the head. works like a charm and sounds like a Titty driver.
  10. Chris, You mention that the Scratch is a Scratch Custom made in the USA. I have a 52 that was ground here in the USA that has a neck identical to the one in the MOZ pic. It's that way because I asked for it. Custom wedges are exactly that, if you want something that looks like another retail wedge you need to ask for it. That's kind of the point. Look at the transistions of other high end wedges, what about Zodia? Are you telling me that those are low quality because the transition lines are abrupt? I'll take a pic of my 52 and you can see for yourself. The grinding here in the US is every bit as good as the grinding in Japan. In fact the grinders in Japan have been impressed with Scratch golf grinders and have complemented them on them. Secondly the black XXX teflon finish is done right here in the USA. The guy they use his main contract is with the US army, he plates all the parts for the hummers used by our troops in that giant bunker Iraq. If it's good enough for our troops fighting in the desert, I'm sure it's fine for a silly golf club.
  11. I've got a DASS Bettinardi BB-43 center shaft that I was thinking about sending to eBay. It's DASS with copper plugs along the bottom, probably the best feeling putter I have ever owned. What were you looking at spending?
  12. My mom is asking me to buy her a set of Honma irons, but I really don't want to get her a tradional set because she won't even use the 3-6 irons. Any of you guys/gals have any recomendations? Better yet anyone have anything for sale?
  13. He hits the R7 great he's just being a little baby TM hater
  14. I have a XXX black 59 deg which I use out of the bunker nearly every round. I've had it for about 6 months and other than the sole it's held up incredibly well. Until I hit a shot out of the sand I really didn't notice any wear. VERY Sweet set of sticks btw. You're going to love the feel and performance of Scratch irons. Are those tour or classic blades?
