  1. Romaro 2014 Ray 455LX. jBeam Glorious Driver Geotech Quelot RE12 Sleeper ... Taylormade JDM JETSPEED. - (Blows away the US version) Different head entirely, great hot melted feel.
  2. I have tried the Fourteen route twice. The CT 112 at 47 inches was my goto driver the 2nd half of 2013. IT was well balanced and didn't seem like a 47 inch club while swinging it. The CT 112 head played very similar and felt like the Crazy 460. Probably the longest hitting setup I have along with the ADAMS LAUNCHLAB with a HOUSE OF FORGED HD PROTOLITE. It is one of my all time Favorite JDM drivers. I didn't have the same luck with the GELONGD CT 214 AT 47.75.. The head felt harder off the face AND didnt seem as forgiving or well balanced as the CT 112, and was very inconsistent for me. i CUT IT DOWN TO 46.5 and it helped but didn't have the mojo of the CT 112. If the CT 315 is better than the CT 112 then it could be a fun club to experiment with.
  3. The Shingo Limited wedge has been in my bag longer than any other club.
  4. http://www.tourspecgolf.com/geotech-2014-re14-fairway-wood Geotech Quelot is a quality club that gets over looked.
  5. They seem similar in design to the PING RAPTURE J irons.
  6. PRGR Super EGG irons, M37 FLEX. The lofts are stronger and the club length is longer but the ball will go high. In reality the 8 iron is a 6. The PW loft is 40 degrees and the 8 is 30 degrees.
  7. Yup. The TRPX Air shaft makes the GLORIOUS work exceptionally well. I hit a high controlled draw with the GLORIOUS. i have a 12 degree head in both the GLORIOUS and 535. I have switched between the TRPX Air shaft and the MUSO XDB in the 535. The AIR shaft in the GLORIOUS resulted in a big performance improvement in overall consistency. I have the 535 setup with 2 6 gram weights up front and 4 gram weight in the back to hit a mid trajectory stinger shot. The XDB shaft provided the bigger wow factor but the AIR shaft was more consistent. The 535 is as good into the wind as the SYARD T.388.
  8. The top and face shape look like the NABLA X. PRGR flat out makes great club designs. The only issue Ive ever had with them is they are quirky about shaft and loft combos based on loft.
  9. The 1st thing I thought of when reading that was VJ SINGH's 9 degree open steelhead 9w.
  10. Glad to hear things are going well.
  11. Ive put the TRPX air in both the Glorious and 535 heads. THis is a very stable shaft that kicks like a mule. THe 535 Air combo gives me the purest hits, replacing the T.388 as the best performance driver I have. I hit it dead straight or a power fade very similar to the T.388 but with a more lively feel and more forgiveness. Very rare to miss left. The into the wind performance is the best Ive ever seen. I have been playing on such swampy fairways this year rollout cant be measured. This club would go miles on fast fws. I hit a par 5 in 2 this past week, that I normally need fast conditions and downwind conditions to pull that feat off. The Glorious has a magic hot spot that is incredible. More hollow feeling than the 535, hits higher, good distance anywhere on the face but magical on the power sweet spot. Both JBEAM heads seem to be built for the AIR shaft. The Muso XDB shaft was also excellent in the 535, as was the Muso XL in the Glorious, but the AIR shaft maxed out everything I can get on a solid hit with both clubs. Both clubs have a 46 inch total length.
  12. The Gloire F Driver is being marketed as an ATHLETE MODEL. Hmmmmm.
  13. Yup. Ist gen with A new speed pocket. Ive heard that the JDM version of the JETSPEED (also with the speed pocket is way better than the US version. Having every generation of the GLOIRE , I have to admit the 1st GEN version has been the most consistent performer. One of my all time favorite JDM drivers.
  14. Its geared for smooth tempo players that can handle lighter and longer shafts and the club length 46 to 47inches. It kicks big time, but is more stable than similar shafts like the Miyazaki KUA 49. It plays very similar to the Royal DECO, but launches lower. Quick tempo swings need not apply.
  15. The courses I play on in the Maryland DC area, are always watered down due to either winter spring rains, or over watering in the summer to keep them from burning out. I also play early in the morning and dew is a factor. I play on wet bent or lush grainy Bermuda. As a result I go for lofts 10,5 to 11.5 to get max carry. The JBEAM 12 degree however has the same ballflight as my Titleist 913. d2 9.5 has. I hit it dead straight or a slight fade. I have a 2 driver setup in my bag with the JBEAM 535 to hit the straight or controlled power fade, or the ROMARO TYPE R 10.5 to hit the controlled draw. In fun rounds on wide open holes I use the QUELOT LE MUSO XL combo. What I like about the 535 is the variance. Tee it low for a powerful stinger shot, and higher for a nice flat mid. high shot.
  16. The XDB shaft has been fantastic in the JBEAM 535 head. I am getting great overall performance of distance and accuracy. The XL shaft in the QUELOT LE is probably the longest setup I have for sheer distance. I will probably get another XDB and try it in the RYOMA MAXIMA TYPE V.
  17. PRGR Nablla RED. A buddy has one, mid 80s ss, picked up 15 to 20 yards.
  18. The JBEAM 535 and MUSO XDB IS an amazing combo. What impressed me most about the 535 was the feel and forgiveness. All JBEAM heads until the 535 TPLX X included have a hard feel to them. The 535 is IN MY TOP 3 IN THE FEEL category along with the T388 and the Romaro Type R. I have a 12 degree head, but it plays very strong for its loft. A great mid trajectory with excellent carry , and a perfect angle of descent with great rollout. It was a mix between the SYARD T.388 , and ROMARO TYPE R. Its the best JBEAM HEAD Ive hit to date. The pured shot and feel with the 535 makes this club very addicting, but its not harsh on less than perfect shots. Very forgiving across the face. It looks to be a battle for me between the ROMARO TYPE R and 535 for all around driver performance.
  19. Quality, PERFORMANCE , and GREAT FEEL works every time.
  20. I have been using the XL Muso in a GEOTECH QUELOT driver. Ive been very impressed. It is similar to the GD MT 5/6 in feel. This shaft in a QUELOT is one of the longest combos I have now. The shaft has a great kick but is very stable and consistent. Its great for smooth tempo.transition players. I should have a JBEAM 535 12 degree head coming soon, and will put the XDB shaft in it.
