  1. Looking for a Graphite Design Tour AD UT 85. Prefer Stiff flex but would concider an X. Thanks
  2. Hi Interested in a G-Field, would you ship to Australia, if so do you have a shipping cost (Approx). Regards S
  3. winfoot Interested in the Graphite Design Tour AD PT7. Did you pull this from a driver? Regards Sean
  4. I really like the look of this club, if I was not looking at getting George Spririts FW, I would give these a go. Would anyone know how they compare in size to a G/Field FW?
  5. Finally have a JDM driver in play. I bought a 10* Fourteen JC-606 Driver from TSG last year as a bit of experiment and have finally put a shaft in it. Ended up with a Diamana White Board D83 Stiff. I know it’s an oldish model, but this is a nice club. It’s replacing the only driver I have ever owned a Callaway FT3 with a NV shaft and the difference is quite dramatic. It seems like I can actually feel the amount the shaft bends, it also feels smooth, not sure if that make sense. When the club face meets the ball it feels kinda soft, not sure if that make sense either. Certainly feels different to the Callaway. Looks good at set up, nice sound, medium to high ball flight. A teaching pro was on the range when I brought it out for the first time and had a hit. Only hit it three times. His comment was “Japan makes great stuff, the sweet spot is where it’s suppose to be.” Anyway just wanted to pass on my thanks to Chris for the head, Gocchin for the shaft recommendation. Thanks guys.
  6. xchangmanx You normally play Black Gold in your wedges, how do you find the 1150GH Tours? sk
  7. ProSpec can these wedges be bent a degree or two, or dose it affect the grind and playability?
  8. Is there any specific reason why the lofts are 48/53/58 as apposed to other combinations such as 52/56/60? Or are they simply lofts proffered by tour players.
  9. Thanks for the input gentlemen, it's a big help.
  10. Just so I have an understanding of what you both recommend I should consider, using the above diagram as a reference. Gocchin, you would be leaning towards something like the Rombax, and Duffer the Axiv V. Also Duffer, do you have any personal thoughts on the JC-606. Like/dislikes, I presume it's not your gamer.
  11. Gocchin my bad shot is a push/right push slice when I try to really go at it, otherwise pritty straight. Is there a particular bend profile that you would suggest I look at first. Also how do you go about finding the bend profile of shafts, I'm not sure I have ever seen that info on a web site before.
  12. Hi everyone, I am looking to re-shaft a 10˚ Fourteen JC-606 Driver (first JDM driver), and looking for a little advice from those who have had more experience with the shafts that are being offered here. I also have a question in relation to the effect of CPM and certain swing characteristics. Currently using a 10˚ FT-3 with an Aldila NV 65 S cut down to 44˝. This sends the ball on a mid trajectory which I prefer. I recently spent some time with a club maker and his comment regarding my swing were: Swing speed average was about 110mph. In regards to tempo he said it is middle of the road. I play with a sweep, early/mid release type swing. He also mentioned I had a mid backswing wrist cock which he said is technically makes a random load pattern (???). The thing that interested me was, he mentioned that because I have an early/mid release (lag is ‘thrown early’), that the cpm and to a certain extent the tip stiffness of shafts will not have that much of a benefit/effect. Has anyone else come across this? His recommendation for a shaft was stiff to x stiff with a torque rating no lower than 3.0 at this point in time. I’d be interested in any comments from anyone who has a JC-606 and what worked for them. In fact, any and all feedback welcome.
