  1. If I used Instagram and/or Facebook I would have entered. Now I just route for all my friends here ?
  2. Mm, they should go in your ”school” re keeping the back neat and tidy.
  3. Did you ever get one of them Chris? Otherwise, the new Geländewagen from Mercedes is 5 inches wider and a bit longer than the old version. It can come in handy in rural Washington if you have to get past a mudslide or two.

    .

I have a few of these. Used to hang out in Tad's shop in LaGrange when I played collegiate golf there. Fun bloke, called Scotty Cameron (who used to be Tad's protege) Scotty Xerox as he copied many of Tad's original designs. Or so he says. This model, the Pro 1X, has really good feel. Hope it finds a nice new home!
  5. Awesome - can’t wait for Nob’s review! Chris, by ”higher than Grandista” I assume trajectory? Can’t be higher than LS-001 though right? That is the highest launching head I’ve ever tried.
  6. I don’t really know. I’ve owned well over 100 putters (from Scotty alone), many Tad Moore, 5 Gold’s, etc. I always come back to the Anser style and have only had a different design in my bag for a few rounds in the last 20 odd years. The Private Stock #2 is what I’ve used most so i love them. However, the Benock with a half moon cut-out looks amazing. Like you can’t miss with it.
  7. https://www.fujimoto-golf.com/ft1cb/ They look awesome. So nice with the understated and toned down style.
  8. ...and die a certain death if you are in an accident in anything over 5 mph. You could view it as an insurance policy where you will at least not become handicapped to the point where you can't play golf and have to suffer only watching it on TV. You will actually die and be put out of your misery. I may have to get one.
  9. The Cyberstars I had some 7-8 years ago - think Ryo played them then? Played one round with them as I did not like the round toe. Sold them for about 400 back then so they should be in the 250 range. My Yamaha 2009 Tourmodel would sell for 250 if I did not want to keep them. Think they are absolutely fabulous. If anyone wanted to pick them up for 250 I might consider it though. I've tried to sell my PRGR idbl's for 350 for the better part of a year with no interest.. Just for the sake of it, I will not sell them anymore.
  10. Thanks for the great write-up Nobs! Damn these wedges look great Warren. I play 50/56 SDJ Proto 115 (from Stu) and a Yururi Tataki 60.5. Next year I'd love to get the ST - think the shape is similar to the Royal Collection 6150 that I played in 49/55/60 for years and years. Loved them but they are done.
  11. I used to play the Axiv and then later on had (still have) an s2h2 with an Axiv Core ProForce in it. Axiv-V I think was the shaft I had in my driver in 2007 or so.
  12. Hey Chris, Why don't you send that set of CB's to Hutchy who can play with them over his summer and then send them to me in May. We promise we will give thorough reviews of the finish and the heads. Sounds like a deal to me.
  13. That CB looks sick. I could take care of a set of them and make sure they feel better?
  14. The CC is gorgeous. The MM, not so much.
  15. Hah - no monster, but I’ve always favored control over distance. In college I hit it a bit further than average but shoulder surgery, back issues and 20 years at a desk has knocked 10 mph off of my swing speed. Agree about the Matrix - it was so smooth. Had it in an Epon 460zr and then the CB2. Loved it.
  16. Like most of us, I’ve had a gazillion different 3-woods. The two best ones thus far were the Mizuno T-zoud with a 105 gram Super Exsar Gold in X flex (when I was young and all of that) and then the Touredge Exotics CB2 with a Matrix F7M2LTD in strong. The Mizuno was biggish in its profile (compared to the TaylorMade Tour Spoon and Callaway s2h2 Bobby Jones) and so easy to hit. The shaft could take anything thrown at it. The TEE is a modern (well) version of the T-zoid in that it is a little bigger than what I normally play and with that zylon covered Matrix shaft it was almost like going back in time. Again, I could hit it as hard as I wanted and choose to hit draw/fade/high/low. Why did I sell it? Cause that’s what we do.. Now I have a Honma 727 to try next season alongside an RC (from you Nobs), a Yonex, a Proceed hybrid 15 and the Zodia (also from you). It is the hardest club of all to get right for some reason.
  17. I have the CL Prototype in a Grand Prix now. It used to be in a Grandista LS-001. In the Grandista, due to the characteristics of the head more than anything, it launched really high, but with the tip feeling very stable. I like to hit baby cuts these days and even if the LS-001 is a draw design for me I was able to hit a small cut. In the Grand Prix it is an absolute beast. Awesome. Before I played a Diamana X 70s in a Grand Prix head an although it was dead straight and low launch, I did not get great distance. The Loop though makes the Grand Prix sing. I can hit draws, cuts, mid-high or low. With a for me neutral swing it is mid launch, low spin, long and a small cut. I rate it as highly as your old AAA 2015 Noboru. It is really good. Love the looks too with the subtle sparkles.
  18. See - this is what has been missing in the last year or so. Someone, like Noboru, to start a thread off with a great review. Then all of us chumps giving our 2 cents worth, and then Chris chips in. We're on our way back. FUN!
