  1. Nice! I wonder what the valets say at The Standard Club in Atlanta. Last time I was there, a Veyron pulled in. This would stand(ard) out a bit more 👌
  2. Kinetixx? Must look them up. One of the best feeling shafts ever is the Crazy Boron - loved it.
  3. Wow - that’s light! But why not if it is stable.
  4. 😁 I like the numbers and will probably get an orange Tensei 1K and perhaps one of the Diamanas in 50x to try different shafts and see what the do for me. Liggter weight is likely the way to go for us oldies and weakies though.
  5. We have a foot of snow and -6 so might take a while..
  6. I don’t think you have to match the wedge FP with the pitching wedges. Your wedges are specialty clubs that you need to love looking at and playing. Grind and bounce are more important.
  7. Yes, that 50x would be interesting to try! The GT also looks interesting. I bought the Vanquish - have to try it - but will try to find the Diamana X 50x and also try out a GT. Thanks Ian.
  8. I’m in the exact same spot Mikey. I swing 98-102, down from 110-112 with age. Strong draw and my miss is to the left. I’ve played AAA and Loop and before then Diamana X 70. I just bought a Baldo 438H 9.5 and yesterday bought a Vanquish 5x for it. It was that or a Tensei 50x but I think that the Vanquish will be a bit more active and better for me. Will try a 44.5-44.75” build to have speed from the lower weight and control by not going 45.5”.
  9. I played the 6150 for years. Similar in look to the DB but had what are now illegal grooves. Loved them.
  10. Thanks Stu. Do they make a 50x in the X?
  11. I’ve used Basileus 2015 AAA for years in the 60s version. So smooth. Then I’ve played Loop CL, JJ and GK. All great shafts where GK was the winner for me. Now I’m thinking I should build a slightly shorter driver @44.5”. Head is Baldo 438 9.5*. My swing is around 100 mph and smooth transition. My misses are either a push or a hook but they are fairly rare. I hit the ball straight with control. But now I want more speed without going longer shaft = less control. I’ve been fitted into a Tensei Blue AV Raw 55x but I’m thinking Tensei 1K Orange 50x. Heard today that I should try the Ventus Black TR 5s or the Vanquish 50x. can you guys share thoughts? Who’s hit the Orange vs the Blue? Who’s hit the Ventus and perhaps most interesting - the Vanquish?
  12. Well, the Seven irons with DLC coating looks nice.
  13. 1. Benock Pantaleone in pretty much new condition. Still has the plastic on the sole. It has a much coveted, Dogatti PT135 shaft in it. Feel is amazing - not buttery soft, partly due to the very firm shaft and thin grip, but very rewarding. Shaft is 235 USD (if you can find one) and putter 1400 USD. 900 USD. LOWERED to 800 USD. 600 USD shipped from Sweden! 2. Then another Benock, the Arco center shafted putter with a UST Frequency Filtered shaft. I can't tell any difference, besides the fine milling on the sole, between this and the $2500 Benock/Seven Arco that's in the pro shop. Used but in great condition. Ridiculously soft feel. As Chris wrote - "The best center shafted putter ever" - 750 USD. 500 USD shipped from Sweden! 3. Grandista RS-D 9° with Loop GK in sx-flex. 45". Awesome driver that I hit off a tee or off the deck. 350 USD. LOWERED to 225 USD shipped from Sweden! Trade bites include: -Tensei Orange 1K 50x driver shaft -2024 Onoff Kuro driver -Titleist TSR 2 or 3 -Axis Golf Z2 CBI irons
  14. Perfect flat-stick to send to TSG Works for some magic. I did that with m PS#2 - it is a gem.
  15. I have not played Baldo irons (just got wedges, driver and 2-wood though) but have Epon’s in the bag and have had several sets before. Always feel good and easy to hit.
