  1. That's right, and swing it fast to build speed, slow swings promote slow movement and vice versa....one you get warmed up of course.
  2. Generally speaking more loft is better for less clubhead speed. I recommend reading: Search for the Perfect Golf Club by Tom Wishon, he is the expert.
  3. A straight plane line for takeaway and a steady head, good job of finding those critical points!
  4. Search "swing speed drills" and you'll find plenty, and there are a few guys who have programs for sale just for swing speed. I would find a happy medium between 260 and 290 and work on that! Or see a teacher and let him examine what is causing the fade. There's nothing wrong with a power fade!
  5. Just do a search for Mike Austin and you'll find all kinds of information about him. He was very strong and flexible.
  6. Not a fan of stack and tilt for the same reason. Mike Austin had a great golf swing but that is one "method" just like Nicklaus and Hogan had theirs. If you have the same body type and flexibility then it's safe to try that person's method. Mike was extremely strong and flexible even when he was in his late 60's hitting the ball 300 yards! For anyone learning golf find a good teacher first before you read 12 different books! Learn how to swing with a flat left wrist, on plane, with correct pressure; then you can experiment with different variations and components.
  7. Medium-high with my Mizuno driver, Fuji vistapro 70 shaft 43.5" stiff. Well, I'm not a low-ball hitter but I have read the MX500 gives a higher trajectory. Haven't found a reliable launch monitor around to have spin checked :( Iron shafts are "supposedly" X200 sensicore but they spec out all over the place for stiffness and I can hit them med. traj. or high if I need to. As for the other reply, that's too much to spend to be the genuie pig!
  8. Ok guys, any and all opinions welcomed. Contemplating my first TSG club purchase and pretty sure I want the Epon 460 driver 9.5 loft which has many shaft choices. I'm leaning towards the Axiv X or Diamana but since I've never hit any JDM clubs or shafts I want to make the right choice for what I think is a considerable investment. Avg. (golf course swing) speed around 115 mph, wanting a med-high flight with good roll out. Seems I'm on the bubble between stiff and x flex. Don't want to swing something that feels like a telephone pole but I have a med.-fast transition so too whippy and I'm hitting it AFLAC (ducky). Thanks for the input.
  9. A lady came to the grocery store and asked the produce manager for a half a head of cabbage. The produce manager said “Ma’am, we don’t sell halves of cabbage.” She said, “Well that’s what I want, please ask your boss.” So the man walks to the back and doesn’t notice that the woman is walking right behind him. He sticks his head in the door and says to the store manager, “Boss, there is some ***hole here who wants to buy a half a head of cabbage.” And then he turns around and sees the woman and says, “and this nice lady here wants to buy the other half!” The next day the store manger calls the produce manager into a meeting and tells him they are opening a new store and because he’s such a quick thinker they want him to be the manager. He asks where the store is located and his boss tells him Alaska. “Alaska!” he says, “there’s nothing up there but prostitutes and hockey players!” “Hey!” the store manager says, “my wife is from Alaska.” Produce manager, “Oh really, what team does she play for?!”
  10. There are 4 black pads 1" x 3", anyone know what these are for?
  11. I just apply the magnet and turn on the machine and make sure the club setting is correct and the spacing is 15 cm from the unit and it's ready to roll.
  12. My question is, are they playing these irons because of endorsement contracts or because they feel these are the best clubs? Why are they not playing Epon and Miura irons?
  13. Bridgestone B330S. Like it better than Titleist, also like the new Taylor Made Red.
  14. I bought the Science Eye from this website and was hoping it came with an English language version but nobody from Tour Spec would answer my emails when I asked about it. Anyone have a contact that can translate Japanese to English writing?
