I hope my reply is not too late. I would recomend asking her to get you golf souvenirs, I have seen some really good ones when I last visited Tokyo. I found that the range available out in Japan is much better than in US or europe. (actually i must say pretty much all types of souvenirs, not just sports or golf related, e.g. DisneyLand stuff)

Ever since I became a member I have learned a lot about the good quality offered by JDM products. One brand for sure, which lots of members here has given a thumbs up, is EPON. I must say I have never had the opportunity to try any Epon products, and more importantly I am not a golf expert. May I ask TSG members here what significant difference would I experience between an Epon Technicity ZR 415cc 9.5 degree driver to one with 460cc? (we assume here everything from grip, shaft, loft, face etc.... for both are exactly the same) And how will the Technicity perform? Would they feel so different becasue of the 45cc difference? A HUGE difference in terms of distance? Any other points? I apologise in advance for asking such a stupid question whom may find. I really am not a golf expert and still in a process of learning and now having this opportunity to purchase the Epon Technicity ZR 415cc I wanted to make sure I won't land on the wrong edge of a sword. (This will officially be my 1st time experiencing high-ended products) Once again a BIG thankyou to you guys!

I have noticed the Q series has been on sale for some time, but strange enough I haven't been able to find much information about this putter. Has any TSG'ers tried the Q series hands-on? How do they feel. Any feedback and input is welcome. I appreciate your effort in advance.

BTW anyone tested out XXIO range? I have only heard it from vid clips like youtube. Sound is nice I think. Like a high-pitched thwack.

The wooden bat sort of sound is what I prefer. You are so right here, the sound, feel and the outcome has to come as a complete package, lack any of the elements mentioned above, then I wouldnt classified it as a prefect driver!

Unfortunately I haven't had the chance to test Epon products myself. Buy by you feedback, it really sounds like something special!! When you mentioned it sounded like "broken"... do you mean it sounds like there's a crack in the head? or just not very well made?

I have to admit black is nice, personally I think is much better than other colours (I mean custom ones like blue, green etc..) Such a shame the MP600 is not available in europe, well at least not in UK. I will have to see it in action to appreciate it.

Regarding the problem about a certain piece is JDM ONLY, I must admit is not just golf related products, but in fact, pretty much everything you can think off. Yes I totally agree what's been mentioned above (market, pricing and econ.), and strange enough (that's only my personal thoughts!) perhaps that's one of their secret way of getting the attention and being famous for globally (of course the quality of JDM products is un-questionable). A prime example would be cell phones, mentioned by gocchin in earlier post. Another example would be vehicles and motorbikes being JDM ONLY. I guess this has to be one of the main reason why people like me always wanted to get my hands on JDM only, and thanks to TSG and team, I finally can now.

I have read a lot about Epon, and no doubt about the feel and sound it is capable!! Once thing that suprise/draw my interest is that Geotech black, I actually fancy having a few hit at this driver! Thanks C for your comments
