  1. It's raining here in Bozeman, MT and it looks like it'll be like this for the remainder of the weekend. So just wondering what you guys typically do to keep yourselves entertained on a rainy weekend like this. For me, I like to go thru my clubs and see if there are any tweaks I want to make with re-shafting re-gripping etc. Then from 2 pm or so turn on TV to watch the 3rd day of the tour while having my favorite beer and with some popcorn or chips. My 10 yr old daughter likes to join me with a glass of Calpico ( or "Calpis" in Japan) or Cold Barley Tea ( mugi-cha ) . Quality family time? I think so!
  2. I love how you name your drivers! I had gamed the normal 9.5 for the first several months of this season. recently switched to a different driver for no other reason than to ho other clubs:) I too agree the 513 is one great driver. Just the right amount of everything you'd want with a driver. I was able to work the ball both ways with this driver fairly confidently. Sound and feel are signature MP Craft. I still have the original MP Craft 425 now paired up with a Max WBQ. Great combo! If you have not had the chance to try an MP Craft driver, you are missing out big time!
  3. Egg Spoon and Hybrids are sold!!! Egg 1 Driver and Odyssey White Rize putter still available!
  4. It is the current one. ( not sure what Gen ) As I mentioned, the club is a bit light for my preference. That is why I am selling. I do think though the MCH shaft is a great match for this head. Very stable and has great feel to it.
  5. No love for Egg woods? If you are looking for forgiving JDM woods, these are it! Prices have been lowered!!
  6. I have only had one range session with it... but I did not have any unexpected hooks with it. It is for sure a forgiving and long hybrid. I think it's a great match with this Fujikura MCH shaft as well. Thanks
  7. Thanks for your kind words guys! PRGR Woods are great. Innovative and unique. bit on the light side for me now but I can see myself coming back to these in 10, 15 yrs.
  8. Hi guys! Have here a set of PRGR Egg woods that I recently purchased used and tried to see how it works out for me. They are all the latest models of their Egg lineup. They are all great clubs, very forgiving and Looooooong! but unfortunately a bit too light for me overall. Rather than disassembling and reconfiguring an already great setup, I thought it might make more sense to sell them as they are to someone who prefers a lighter set up. Also have a couple of great Odyssey putters as well. So here they are 1. SOLD! PRGR Egg 1 Driver 7.5* / Diamana W 60 Stiff 46" Factory installed custom shaft. Crown has some rub marks and hairline scratch which you can see if you look closely. Sole has some light marks from usage. but minimal. Hardly any marks on the face. Comes with Headcover One of the hottest in the JP market currently. Don't be intimidated by the 7.5* loft. It is rather easy to launch. The head is designed so that really the trajectory is as high as any 9.5 or 10deg out in the market. Kind of the opposite of the SLDR loft up idea. Retails new for around $800 with this shaft. I am selling this one for $450 $400 Net PP shipped in U.S. 2. SOLD!! PRGR Egg Spoon 15* / Diamana Thump FW 65 Stiff 42.5" Factory installed shaft. Top line has a tiny scratch which I tried to capture in a pic but honestly hard to see at address Face and Sole has no noticeable marks. Comes with Headcover No additional explanation needed here. :) Combined with a Diamana Thump FW ! Ball really goes forward with a strong trajectory! 3. SOLD!! PRGR Egg i+ 4 UT 21* / Fujikura MCH 60 Stiff 40.5" Factory installed shaft. Face and sole has very faint marks if you look hard enough. Other than that, looks close to new. Comes with Headcover One of the most forgiving utilities I have tried. Fujikura MCH shaft has great stable feel to it. 4. SOLD!! Gold's Factory Custom Odyssey Black Series Tour Design #2 34" 592g overall weight Some hairline scuffs on the sole. but overall in excellent condition. No dings or noticeable marks from address. Comes with Gold's Headcover Gold's Factory Modified with SUS303 PZ milling face insert. Beautiful Satin finish. Bought it from a member here in this BST a couple of months ago. Heavy head and heavy shaft. Unbelievably stable for a blade. PZ milling provides amazing roll and feel of the face. Hate to let this one go as it is probably one of the softest feeling putters I have ever owned. Unfortunately, I am not a blade putter player as my stroke needs a face balanced putter. It was definitely still worth the try! 5. JDM Odyssey White Rize ix V-line #5 / 35" Sole has a couple of hairline scratches. Looks great other than that. Super Strike 2.0 grip Still in great condition. Missing original headcover. Will include a Como Come mallet cover. Easy to align with the Hi-Def Liner ix insert has great feel slightly firmer than White Hot insert. Not as firm as White Ice insert. $125 $110 Net PP shipped in U.S.

  11. Former Physics major here from a not so good school :) ... but I think there are far more human produced variables in a golf swing that impacts how far or straight a ball goes. A note on the stability of steel shafted drivers. I have had these combos in the past and they definitely do go straighter. I always thought this was because of lower torque of the shaft relative to graphite. In addition, having shorter club length for the steel shafted drivers probably allows hitting the sweetspot more often and possibly providing more confidence in swiniging closer to an all out full swing?
  12. Thanks. No worries. I think standard weight is 199g. I am very tempted!
  13. I just got myself a PRGR Egg 1 after reading how easy they are to hit long and straight. While I have no problems launching normal 8.5deg drivers, I wanted to fnd a driver that was easier to hit the fairway. Egg 1 is an easy head to launch and to get big drives even though it is a 7.5deg only model. Hits more like a 9.5 or 10 deg head in my opinion. They do have an M40 shaft ( SR flex ) offering which is targeted for 89 mph SS. Great sound and feel off the face even compared to the best of the best, like Epon. They also have the Eggbird driver in their line up which is targeted for the general player group. With more traditional lofts and even softer flexes available. Another interesting one is the Egg Impact with 43.5" / 205 g head.... I can just imagine this thing being a fairway finder. My first PRGR driver has really impressed me with the forgiveness factor. I feel that PRGR Egg series are the equivalent of Ping G series: More forgiveness and playability for all ranges of players. PRGR Egg drivers deserve more praises here on this forum!! Highly recommended.
  14. Wow! really like the stealthy look! looking forward to your review!
  15. Zero and Zen are truly legendary even within Epon's historical line up! and that headcover is uber rare! Someone get them fast! GLWS!!
