S-Yard t.388 vs Epon Zero (which to choose)
604_skyline replied to 604_skyline's topic in Japanese Golf Clubs
swing speed 110mph, quick-ish tempo (think nick price), driver is strong suit, play or have recently played tourstage j340, titleist 983E tour head, tourstage p02-6 -
hope this is not over stepping any bounds, but which one, if you could only have one driver the rest of the year? or should I be looking at something from jbeam?
-
Tario, what do you know about these if anything? I had seen something last year about them in a golfstyle magazine, now they seem to be back this year with a new line-up http://gravitygolf.jp/ The driver seems to have a nice weight to it 80, 90, 110 grams, etc. The price is on par or higher with the likes of all the other full boron's as well.

Tourstage 2013 X-Blade and X-Drive Discussion
604_skyline replied to gocchin's topic in Japanese Golf Clubs
I believe march 8 is the release date for the new iron sets and drivers. gocchin, will you be able to get the 909 x-blade in a full 3-PW set? I know they are releasing 5-PW as the set and then 3 and 4 irons individually.... either dynamic gold or modus3 are the shaft options for the irons i believe and a GD shaft for the drivers.- 11 replies

Tourstage 2013 X-Blade and X-Drive Discussion
604_skyline replied to gocchin's topic in Japanese Golf Clubs
as someone who is still playing the mr-23 us blade, i think an upgrade to these new 909's is in order, Tario, I know not much info is known, but do you have any idea on shaft options for the irons? I just got my flat black crazy toyoshima wedges with the crazy sports target tour 120 wedge shafts, and would explore the option of the the target tour 120 (non wedge) in these, also would bridgestone offer dynamic gold tour issue? thanks.- 11 replies

pic is from reflex g sports blog/ameblo i would imagine; The difference between AF-102 Easily caught by the hook face is not compared to the AF-102 Higher trajectory by the deep center of gravity compared to the AF-102 Deep face looks the same as the AF-102 460cc Yet Slapping sound feel on impact is aggregated will look rounded than AF-102 I have the feeling that such a position of the driver of EPON Difficult ZERO AF-102 AF-103 AF-152 Friendly It was written in this way according to the article Epon AF series ever feel on impact, the best. Create a sense of ejection with smoke, chemical formula of their own design. Driver orthodox thought and advanced forging technology that does not change is a fusion. Shot put with a deep sound that has attracted players honed. EPON is confident feel on impact AF series ever, best come with confidence and the market Enjoy the feel and sound produce sound from the head feel on impact, the slapping sound, the sound of the last to disappear The strong growth in ... and ballistic Would it not have Shiaga~tsu drivers to stimulate the senses just EPON driver that will satisfy the sense of ownership of Dokutoku *september 30th release i believe

thank you very much, I guess its just deciding what weight to go for then. -

I am sure Tario would be best to give advice on these, so hoping he will chime in with what crazy is saying about the s-519 prototype 75 and 85. as someone who has always played a heavier driver shaft high 70gram to low 80gram these have me really intrigued. I know torque isnt what it used to be, but these seem really high? 4.5 on the 75 series and 3.X on the 85 series? any thoughts from anyone? thanks.

spoon, thanks for the quick rundown, and thats the main think, I do not really know what I am looking for, I have only even know true temper and their dynamic gold line, x100, s400, etc. the less weight in all the shaft I mentioned is what has my most concern... the modus 3 in tour x is approx.126 grams is that correct? I do not know if I have the swing speed for the tour x as opposed to the regular x (wich is a big weight difference if you ask me at 6grams coming in at only 120grams) modus 3 is actually nippons north american offering as well correct? kinda like the whole shimada thing, but is it safe to assume the modus 3 is made in japan then shipped over to the US? sorry for all the questions, this is a pretty big change though for me in terms of going something totally new!

looking for some iron shaft advice, been a long time dg x100 person. looking at either the nippon sp blue or nippon tour modus 3, but then shimada caught my eye, in japan its the k's tour? but they have different shafts for north america/europe is that correct? pro and or tour? looking for everyones thoughts, thanks. **should add the crazy sports target tour 120 (even though they are a little on the excessive price wise for a steel iron shaft)
