  1. At $500 that is more than reasonable, the JH audio custom series that is available in the US start at over $1000 I believe, and they have a list of places all over north america than you can get a mold made of your ears and ship it to them and they will custom make yours with various colour options, etc. as well JH audio has some no custom's that are crazy expensive as well, $1500+ up to over $2500 for the JH audio Layla
  2. Chris, when I made the initial post, I forgot to say it was the vs200 irons I was asking the info on, and this sort of morphed into more of a wedge thing. do you have the vs200 irons in stock? and what is the small option list? is no paintfill and option, as well what about heads only?
  3. Just wondering if anyone know the full list of custom options from buchi? Is there a page like the mizuno yoro page that shows the various finishes and grinds and stampings options, etc? or with buchi are there not that many options in terms of customization? are these available heads only?
  4. wonder how these would work in a set of A-Grind R1 CB's......
  5. this is a factory black oxide finish direct from A-Grind, not an aftermarket. they are sold in a two wedge set; 52/58 limited to 250 sets.
  6. I dont know why but I keep seeing the tourstage mr-23 us spec cb's everytime I look at these R1's. I as well think I may pick-up a set
  7. This might have already been asked/answered, but do we know who is forging/making the iron heads?
  8. Just awesome! As someone who is looking for a player's CB, I might have to jump in on one of the SS400 sets.... Chris what are some of the finishes you like/prefer?
  9. A Grind Blade; No. Loft Lie Weight Fp; 3iron 21 ° 59.5 ° 243g ± 2.7 4iron 24 ° 60 ° 250g ± 3.1 5iron 27 ° 60.5 ° 257g ± 3.5 6iron 31 ° 61 ° 264g ± 3.9 7iron 35 ° 61.5 ° 271g ± 4.3 8iron 39 ° 62 ° 278g ± 4.7 9iron 43 ° 62.5 ° 285g ± 5.1 PW 47 ° 63 ° 295g ± 5.5 A Grind R1 Blade (has a "tour" grind according to the translation) as well the face progression is a constant 5.0 from 4iron to PW. No. Loft Lie Weight Fp; 4iron 24 ° 60 ° 250g ± 5.0 5iron 27 ° 60.5 ° 257g ± 5.0 6iron 31 ° 61 ° 264g ± 5.0 7iron 35 ° 61.5 ° 271g ± 5.0 8iron 39 ° 62 ° 278g ± 5.0 9iron 43 ° 62.5 ° 285g ± 5.0 PW 47 ° 63 ° 293g ± 5.0
  10. Chris, are there two versions of the CB? I was reading on a japanese blog, and they mentioned that for the next run that the CB's might be smaller than the first release? is this true?
  11. TSG, this maybe old news, but there are two more finishes on the yoro page, bringing the total to eleven. these last two are basically double the price of the other nine. now the translation is poor, but do you have any info on these? they are "Jill" nickel and "Jill" twilight and as I say, they are double the price of the regular nine finish options. do you have any accurate info on them?
  12. Chris, what are the options with regards to the modart ma01ds? in terms of loft and face angle? how open could Suda-san get the face? if I wanted a modart ma01ds 9.5* with 1.5* open face is that possible?
  13. Is it safe to say the general consensus is that the JBEAM is one of if not the longest head out there that you can get? I am really torn between which to get....I know the MA01DS is brand new and there is virtually no feedback on it yet, but....
  14. Chris, have you managed any serious time with the DS what did you think of it compared to the S? so what then with regards to the new DS? D or new DS? with the adjustability aside, is the DS simply 5cc bigger with a different face material and a slight different internal weigh setup, like you sated in the initial post, this is an evolution not a totally new head? I am torn on going just straight D or this new DS, newer is not always better...correct? modart MA01DS or jbeam 435 black?
  15. Are these modart heads tricky to get the right shaft combination?
  16. so what would everyone go with between this new MA01DS or the regular MA01D?
  17. is the face profile similar to the MA01S or MA01D in terms of depth, etc.
  18. so this companies 70 gram shafts come in three versions; a "distance" profile SZ series; a "control" profile S series; and an "all-around" profile ST series. they also have 60 gram weight class (two types; all around and all around with sensitivity) and a 50 gram version (again two types; control and a control variation) and finally a 40 gram option (three types; a ladies/senior version and then an "all around expert" version R46/T1 for those who want a lightweight shaft and finally one classified for "stability") there are also finish/colour options; there are monochromatic (19 colours i believe) gradation (again i think 19 colour options) and then there is the bamboo spec options, as well as some marbling, and some sparkling/colour change finishes.
  19. Thanks buddy, wow that thing was pretty special, would have bid if I had known!
  20. any chance you could post the link to the YJP auction you mentioned in the initial post the t102 sm490a?
  21. That is correct sir with regards to the 240sx being the silvia, i think S13 and S14 were the sold in north america, the 240sx in north america was I think only 1995-1998 for S14?
