  1. Chris, your last post is exactly what i was looking for, thank you very very much, I do appreciate it. so the sony a7r and the nikon d800e both use the same internals? who are they actually made by though(the sensors/internals that is)? the nikon DF differs from the d800/800e in which ways? finally you are correct with specs, they just turn my brain to mush.....
  2. I do get your point, maybe a better question I should have asked earlier in the thread would have been a nice quality camera that a beginner who could/would take lessons and not out grow the initial purchase and could work his way into optimizing the camera that he purchased originally, if that makes any sense? But then again that contradicts your point about a beginner buying a set of blades....
  3. Chris, I could see your point as per you mention of just throwing money at something, but in the end I think we are all here because we like the best of the best, not only in the golf world, but just in general, like you with your vehicles as well, sure it maybe overkill, but there is something to be said about quality and piece of mind that you have the best of the best.
  4. no too worried about size or anything like that as you mentioned in your first question. I am ultimately just looking for as close to a perfect all around camera one could buy, I know they are all going to have little flaws here and there, but if there was one out there that was as close to perfect as you could get would that be the 800E? finally what lens would you personally recommend with the 800E? you seem to like the a7 is that cause you can use lens' from different manufacturers?
  5. Chris, if one were to purchase a D800E, which lenses would you recommend to go with it? as well, why the reason to exclude Leica?
  6. Tario, any way you could get them to let you have one of the heavier 70+gram protos then? I really really need something in the mid 70's
  7. are we allowed to order one of the drivers with the x-line shafts even though they (the shafts) are not ready yet?
  8. am I correct in that the new X-Line shafts are releasing october 2nd or so? Tario, do you have any spec's or can you say with confidence that they will be in the 70+gram range?
  9. I so want a D-013 (9* or 9.5* loft with a 1*open FA) with one of the new to be released X-Line shafts!
  10. Chris, do you have any additional info on the x-line, in terms of weighting and torque numbers? I would image there will be a mid 60's gram a mid 70's gram and possibly a mid 80's as well? preferably 3.0 or less on the torque?
  11. when will the x-line of shafts be available? especially for those of us whom prefer heavier shafts.
  12. when will be able to order custom yoro version's of these? meaning...typically how long after an irons release does yoro start with the custom options? cause they look dead perfect.
  13. Tario, whats the story on the crazy black tour shafts? the cb tour 75 X flex looks mighty tempting...perhaps in a t.388?
  14. well thats good to know, thanks Chris. he does have a steady stream always coming out, perhaps a mention of no sight line?
  15. does mr. takei do any custom putters? like will he take a blank head and do what you want with it like sasaya-san of gold's factory? i would like a george spirits putter, but no sight line or anything like that with a traditional head shape?
  16. For those wedge freaks such as myself, one can never really have enough.... These look perfect, with three options on the 52* and five options on the 58*
  17. as someone who was a maru wedge fanatic, i had all versions from all years, the 2004 versions and the 2005 x-wedge versions of the marus (the ones you have stew) nothing has come close to them in feel since, they are 99.9% pure Fe
  18. Chris, yeah its me, I have some tourstage 909 mb irons that have been shipped and are on there way to me, to go with my flat black crazy toyoshima's that I got from Tario in december. It just seems in the last year or two the abundance of drivers out there is just mind boggling, good drivers I mean, I find it hard to wrap your head around, especially with some of the smaller boutique companies as well
  19. Chris, thanks for the added info, I am not looking for distance in a driver, I want something that suits my eye, and will go and perform when and where I want and need it to. as someone who has always played a shorter than average driver 44.5 to 44.75 inches with a heavier shaft high 70 so mid 80, with a hard power fade(think medium trajectory with a movement of 5 yards or so to the right), i want something anti-left that. funny you mentioned the george spritis, there is just something about all his stuff that appeals very much to my eyes. who makes his driver heads?
  20. I have always loved the look of his putters, just wish he would/could put out something with no sight line, just a nice clean look otherwise.
  21. T. Thanks for the pic, the head is just about perfect upon further look, minus the matte finish(i am sure i am in the minority on this one) I just would wish for a nice simple gloss black head, I guess it could not be painted could it?
  22. I much prefer the pear shaped head shape, I know it maybe just the pics but the s-yard/jbeam and crazy heads just look too round to me, is it just my eyes? that is why I am leaning towards the zero...
