  1. Miura Giken has been making the world’s finest forged golf clubs for a very long time. These forged blades are exceptional and not an item you see here often. I purchased these clubs many moons back in Japan and have decided to part with them. If you know much about Miura Giken, you'll know that the mb 5002 are expertly crafted irons. The heads have normal bag chatter, and the 5 iron has a small rash mark. $525 $475 shipped (US Only); International shipping will be extra. Thanks
  2. awesome putter Nob. Not sure how the company you bought this from had it 3-4 weeks before it was delivered to stores, but needless to say, you scored big time on the purchase and made it sweeter with this murdered out finish. I'm a fan of black putters too. Let us know how it rolls on the real greens. Thanks
  3. Thanks Stew. I'm not sure if anyone in the US wants it and it's super expensive to ship overseas these days.
  4. JBeam FX 435BM stamped with Crazy logos. Has a Crazy CB-50 shaft, 7.4 flex. Club is 45.25 inches, 317grams total. The shaft itself is special made from 50t carbon and still sells for 480$ usd for the shaft alone. Comes with a nice crazy head cover. Asking $old obo. Will sell shaft / headonly. thanks. Tom
  5. Here's the specs on the ventus. 6s in blue is 65grams. https://fujikuragolf.com/ventus. Be careful if you are buying on eBay. Taylormade offers a "ventus blue" that does not have velocore. It's a much different shaft and price point. Most people will say that the velocore shafts are superior to the TM offering. I'm very interested in the KHT Autoflex shaft. Cost $800, but suppose to have some crazy results for some players. Adam Scott used it in the Farmer's last week. I'm not sure I want to drop $800 on a shaft though.
  6. I think that shaft would compare more to the kht auto flex. Velocore is more of a traditional shaft that kicks consistently to help square the face
  7. I'm about a 105 too, and would consider myself a smooth swinger, without a harsh transition. If you have the option, go get fitted. That's really the best way to know. Velocore offers 3 different products, red, blue, black, in different weights and flexes which all have different launches. I'm too lazy to get fitted, so I went with a 6s in blue. I have a 10.5 degree driver and will change the setting to a lower loft because it's launching a little high for my liking. At 115, you'll easily be in an X.
  8. Hey Bogey. The velocore in the ventus shafts is suppose to be a game changer. Suppose to help you return the club to square more consistently because of the materials used in the shaft. I like what I see so far.
  9. Nob, I have to ask. Are you Bryson DeChambeau disguised as Noboru from Montana? Just Kidding. 5x flex. That's amazing. I've just started to use the velocore and like the results. I've had some issues getting my driver to fly higher, so I went with a 10.5 SIM and the velocore in Blue, 6s, tipped 1/2 inch. Dropped my right shoulder a bit at address with my head more behind the ball and suddenly I'm hitting moon balls. Will adjust to a lower setting on the SIM and if it still flies high, I might purchase a ventus black. I'm going to send you a PM about your opinion on Evnroll putters. thanks.
  10. HI BogeyGolf. I started off wanting to maximize COR. I felt that Japanese OEM had a tighter deviation on clubs and thus I would have the best chance to get a club with as close to .83 cor as I could. Started off with a Yamaha driver, inpress v201. Liked the club, felt great -- still have that club in my basement. Read about the forging techniques and how buttery soft the irons/wedges were. Bought a set of mb5002s from Miura and some tourspec Maruyama wedges. Read about the tour quality putter heads milled from JSS. Bought a bunch of Yamadas, Hiros. Read about the graphite used in Crazy shafts. Got a couple of those. Kept searching for a perfect driver. Yamaha v440, SYARD .388, original VSPEC Premia with Crazy Boron shaft. Ryoma Maxima with Crazy shaft, and finally a JBEAM 435 which at the time was the hottest / longest driver with Crazy shaft. After a couple of years of tinkering, I ended up taking out my driver, playing with a 3 deep from Callaway that was a bomber and stuck with my x-protos from Callaway. Felt they were more buttery than the Miuras. Moved away from my JDM putters and now play with a very forgiving of the shelf TM mallet putter. JDM is great, but they're really expensive and you pretty much buy them to test them. I have both the Ryoma Maxima and JBEAM sitting in my basement collecting dust. The one JDM driver I fell in love with, I don't play with because I keep an official handicap for my club and the driver is illegal. It's a high cor Yamaha 405D. I recently added a TM SIM to my bag, ironically, it's shaped like the original ryoma vspec and play that with a ventus velecore shaft. At the end, I guess with adjustability of clubs and the ability to move in different shafts, it was easier just to buy US products. Sorry for the long winded answer. thanks.
  11. Apologies to all. It’s been a while since I sold anything on this forum. I’ll add new pics now. Ironically, I think I’ve sold stuff to both hutchy and nobmontana in the past.
  12. Thanks. I hear this is a great putter to do a gold's upgrade on. I'm not sure how many people still do the gold's upgrade though.
  13. Hi Everyone. Haven't sold clubs on here in quite a while. My fascination with Japanese clubs ended 5 years ago, but I still have some goodies lying around. Apologies in advance for the pictures. I'm not sure why they upload all weird looking. Yamada Kamakura with Black Smoke finish - handmade. This putter has a leather Yamada grip, plays a hair under 34 inches. I believe the head weight is 375g. This putter is a beauty. There is a small scuff mark on the topline (see picture 4). I feel it can be buffed with the right oil and elbow grease. You'll also get a very very ugly Yamada putter cover. Priced to sell at $550. Will cover US shipping, but international shipping will require additional dollars. Hiro Matsumoto MZ-07, handmade. This putter has a lovely patina to it and plays to 35 inches. Putter has a camo golf price putter grip. I love this putter and wish I could putt with a blade. It's the most balanced putter I've swung and has a nice feel to the face at impact. Sorry, no putter cover for this one. Priced to sell at $old. Will cover US shipping, but international shipping will require additional dollars. thanks everyone.
  14. What did Mickelson use to win the British Open in 2013? Callaway's Frankenwood, which turned out to be the original 3 Deep Pro as a retail product. That's my longest 3wd and honestly is even distance with my driver. 3 Deep Pro 14.5 with a Fubuki Alpha shaft, my choice for the longest 3 wd.
  15. Up for sale, PRGR Egg PX-03, 13 deg 3 wd, head only. $75 $50 Make an offer Sold. Honestly, this head is sitting in a desk drawer. It deserves a better home. A chance to feel the crisp air, dew of the morning grass, the poly of a golf ball. It's a sad existence in a drawer, always dark. Someone give this egg a new home. One of the easiet and longest 3 woods to hit. The original egg. thx for looking.
  16. For sale, Edel Brick Gold, First Run, 1 of 100 putter. $200.00 $160.00 $150.00 + shipping. Literally used for only 2 rounds and that head cover is pretty cool. thanks for looking.
  17. HI Everyone. Up for sale are 3 items. Shipping is USPS from New Jersey. Sorry, no international shipments. Price includes shipping. Payment via paypal. Up first. The longest of long drivers. Jbeam 435 with Crazy CB-50 7.4 shaft. Loft is 10degs and sits square. Club is in good condition, no dings or skymarks. Asking $525 $575 Next up Original Egg 13 deg 3wd with Graphite Design AD DI 5s shaft. Club is in average condition. I'd say this is .5inches longer than standard 3wd. The headcover is pretty worn out. Asking $175 $200 Last up. Ash's / Stew's Miura km350 putter. I got this in a trade with Ash and I never used it. I believe Stew is the original owner. Has a yellow Iomic grip and plays just a hair under 35in. Asking $old thanks JM3
  18. I have one too. It believe it's 34". I got it from Ash (akapur) who got it from Stew (supo67). Let me now if you're interested.
  19. Originally from Michigan but have lived in SF, Toronto, NYC, Hong Kong, and finally NW Jerz..with plans to move part-time to Florida (Orlando and Coral Gables). Recently retired from software design at Oracle and now help out my wife who is in bridal retail - 6 stores spread throughout the US and Hawaii. I'm not really retired, just didn't want to work at Oracle anymore. Don't play enough to have an official handy, but I shoot low 80s. Love the game and am a golf club junkie. Glued to the tube for most major events. Almost missed a flight watching lefty win the open. Got into JDM to maximize cor and hit longer drives. Once you've drank the kool-aid, it's hard to turn back. I buy mostly drivers and putters of the JDM variety and really believe that JDM drivers and shafts are the purest, longest clubs you can buy. I enjoy reading about other's experiences with clubs and the words written have influenced my purchasing decisions. To save my marriage and eliminate my cash spend can everyone agree to stop writing reviews on clubs? Appreciate the cooperation. :)
  20. I sold my premia and have the type G maxima. I think the maxima is longer and just as forgiving. I do feel the premia is softer off the face. If you are itching to tinker, I'd recommend the maxima.
  21. Yikes.. What's in the bag?? No 425, no ryoma, no 435... Great guy to deal with GLWS
  22. Stew, just bought an original Egg in 13 with an ad di. I think I look in your bag for guidance.
  23. Pete didn't buy my v201.. Why no love Pete... But he did buy my Yamaha v440 and I was surprised that Craig had this listed as his number 4 driver of all time. Agree with SteveO, Yourpressed is a good guy and this is a great club.. low launcher.. easy to hit.. soft face.. and is like forrest gump.. runs for days. GLWS.
  24. I jumped on this bandwagon and am not looking back, well, I look back to see how far ahead I am of my playing partners. I really love this driver and when hit square on the face, it is the longest of the long.
