Great day yesterday. Lovely weather, watched the FA Cup final with a few beers then watched the Eurovision with my 2 boys (8 & 10). The 8 year old picked Ukraine as his second favorite, so he won the bet. Actually it's just been me and the boys all week, as my wife has been on holiday in Gran Canaria! I seem to play more in the winter than the summer anyway, weirdly, so the wide sole won't be a problem. As you say, forgiving. Hopefully work out a treat.

I guess so, as my favourite steal shaft is c-taper which is supposed to be stoutish, and I think these carbon shafts are similar. So when I said earlier that it's a blue profile it maybe that it feels more 'one piece' if that makes sense. It's what I like anyway.

Can't help on the raw lengths but I can say that I would definitely buy the Crazy iron and wedge shafts again. I think if I'd have installed the Crazy's in to the Yamaha heads then perfection may have been found. I did install them into those Grindworks heads and (similar to my TM R9 forged Quadra 100i setup now) the iron heads were the problem, as in the cavity was too big and I lost some of that butter soft feel. I think they're based on a 'blue' profile, so stiff butt soft mid stiff tip. Perhaps the newer versions of their iron shaft lines are even better. Who knows?

I agree with you both. I don't buy new gear but I would enjoy and see the benefit in video reviews. It'd be the closest we'd get to seeing the gear in hand. Surely there's enough new gear to need a full-time employee to carry-out all these reviews.

Opposite for me. Love the Apex head shape and sound. The Mavrik was a let done in everyway. I agree on the 26 loft. Going to get one soon.

The PRGR red eyes is supposed to be ok for how relatively cheap it is compared to other small launch monitors.

For me the Epon ZR415 was a superb feeling head. Had that shafted with a blueboard.
