I have the 2008 head and the 2011 3W with those Kaili shafts. Awesome combination. Best I've owned so far.
  9. Hi Tom. Seems like you're having similar issues to what I had with the Crazy. If you want to try some cheaper shafts first I'd recommend these: http://www.jrgolf.co...brid_shafts.htm I had a 'Axivcore Red 100 S' in an Adams Pro Gold 16* and an 'Axivcore Black 100 S' in an Adams Pro Gold 20*. Feel was good, they just went a little left. I should have tried the X flex instead. Enjoy experimenting.........
  10. Great info f1. I will try choking down on the grip and go from there. Club cost is in negotiation as I type.........
  11. Great guy to deal with here. GLWS
  12. Just come back from a short range session hitting the Crazy 435 with Crazy LS 80II in 7.4 flex. From what I have read from other peoples reviews/thoughts on this driver, I was expecting a harsh feeling but beautiful, low launching, unforgiving, noisy but long son of a b**ch. Well, I got the long bit, I got the unforgiving bit, I got the noisy bit (I really liked the sound by the way) and I got the low launching bit, but for feel I actually thought it was soft. Soft like my Yamaha. Not Kamui Works Ray soft but very nearly! My only real problem was I could pull it left too often. I'll admit that i never warmed up at all, which is not the right thing to do but I liked the head and shaft. Ideally I'd have the shaft in a 7.7 flex. To straighten out the pulls, would it make much difference if I shortened the shaft at the butt or better to cut the tip by an inch?
  13. Nice pics but................how close to the flag?
  14. Chris. What was Tats overall average total length for the 2 drivers? Looking at the figures it seems that the XV might have the longer length based on its lower height and longer carry distance.
  15. If you are a high ball hitter - get the XV - I am doning that next - With Fubuki K Stiff at 9.5 and my SS is 100 currently and will top out at 103. I am 49 years old. Hi. When you say 'high ball hitter', do you mean the ball flight or the tee height? I ask because most people on here who have tried the .388 have said that it's a low ball flight. I can have a tendency to hit the ball quite high so I thought that out of the XV and the .388 then the .388 might be 'The One'. Thanks, Ian.
  16. That OnOff bag looks great. How does it sit on a push/pull trolley, as it seems to have pockets all the way around? Have you ever tried any Mizuno Fli-hi driving irons? Can you compare them to your Miura on feel?
  17. And another video comparing EVERY DRIVER would be good............if you have time! Lol.
  18. That looks sweeeeeet. Love the colour combo. Please compare on feel/trajectory/distance with your Kamui and Crazy. Thanks. Ian.
  19. I think you can order any of the Crazy driver shafts in white. They're called 'La Bomba'.
  20. I got really excited for 2 secs....I thought you were selling. Lol
  21. Would like to hear the comparison to your Kami Ray. Thanks.
