  1. Club-head weight is not even. I could offset the difference with lead tape I suppose.
  2. A quick follow up, which applies to custom builds: I'm not happy with the look and design of the 1 Iron club heads so I want to build my own. I'm looking to build using all 7-irons (perfect SW for me) and then bend the heads to match the loft angles of the other irons in the set. Before I get too far down the road, I want to get some feedback. Bending to a 6i or 8i is one thing, but going down to a 3i or up to a PW is another. Is this possible to do? (I'd have a pro club head repairer do the work) Which brand would you recommend? (Enon was mentioned) Do they make it for Left-Handers? (This is critical for me)
  3. Yes, I'm a bit weird. Back in the 80's I demo'd a set of Tommy Armour EQL irons and really liked it, but never ended up buying them. TA stopped making them and I played with my conventional Calloway irons up until two years ago when I picked up a set of clubs from 1 Iron Golf. It is a single-length set with club-head swing-weights all the same. For me it has really worked well (not saying it will for everyone) and wondering if there are others who play like this as well. Also wondering if there are any Japanese manufacturers who make something along the same lines. Hope to hear some feedback. Thanks in advance!
  4. First post! I am doing something a bit similar. I've switched over to a single-length set of irons (1 Iron Golf) and love it, however I'm not happy with the look and design of the club heads so I want to build my own.
