  1. I ended up to get the AP2 instead, after testing it, I found out that the Miuraism is too much for my current skill level. The AP2 also is around 15 yards longer, maybe due to shaft as well (Matrix Program vs NS Pro 950). A lucky fellow member from Singapore PM'ed me and decided to buy the Miuraism for a good price I suppose.....cheers
  2. ok guys, thanks for the info....appreciate it
  3. Hi guys, I'm planning to buy the epon dog head cover for driver. The problem is that I'm not sure that it will fit in my newly acquired Epon dog cart bag, as I think this bag is smaller than my previous Mizuno. Even the bag is quite packed already with only 10 club (1 driver, 1 wood, 1UT, 6 iron, 1 putter) Has anyone tried it and can confirm that the bag cover can still properly zipped with the dog head cover in it? From the picture, the dog cover looked quite big. Thanks in advance
  4. Has anyone here ever gaming this iron? tried to find a review, but mostly bros here were using the SB I got an interesting offer for this in 5-P and might buy it to replace my Ray H. If the price is about the same, would you prefer a 5-P SC01 with NSPRO950 or 4-P Titleist AP2 710 with Matrix Program?
  5. Hi Ant, thanks for the advice....appreciate it by much. Anyway just for an update, anyway I did a comparison using trackman for a few shats listed below: - Regular GS 75 - PXi 5.5 - Project X 6.0 - Matrix Program 95 5.5 Based on Trackman, as expected the GS75 has a higher launch, around 21 deg, carry around 110-115m. Spin rate around 5000ish. The heaviest shaft here, the Project X 6.0 resulted lower higher launch, around 20 deg, spin rate around 4500. No significant difference in carry (maybe due to the bad swing quality). I think for me, its too heavy, and Im afraid the back 9 will be too tiring if I'm using this shaft. For the matrix program, I don't know why, but despite it's described as higher launch shaft, Trackman said that it launch lower, around 18-19 deg, higher spin rate, around 5500, and carry 120m ish.....It didn't feel any softer compared to my GS, even I think its slightly less soft. Might consider the Matrix Program 95 5.0.....good idea or not?
  6. Thanks Spoon....I think "alright" will not justify its steep price tag then.... Funny that even the owner of the club fitting house said that its not worth the price.....maybe because he saw that my swing is still very lousy....haha
  7. Thanks Spoon & Duffer for the response. NSPro 950 is an off shelves staff of many iron sets in Jakarta, so finding it shouldn't be hard. I just curious reading many good reviews of a premium graphite iron shaft and tempted to try one. What about the Matrix Program 95? Has anyone tried it?
  8. Hi, I’m currently using a TT GS75 steel shaft in my Romaro Ray H, but my pro said that its too light for me, and I need a stiffer shaft. He said that because the ball flight is too high, maybe because the staff is too soft. So now, I got an offer for a Graphite Design Tour AD AD-75 Regular flex & also a Matrix Program 130 in 6.0 (Stiff-Regular Flex?) How’s the Tour AD plays? Will it be stiffer than my GS75? The weight is similar, which I consider as a plus since I just into golf for 7 months. The Matrix Program on the other hand, I’m afraid that it would be too much shaft for my current skill. But I can only find a good review for them. If I can afford it, will it hinder my progress in learning if use heavier & stiffer staff like that? For Asian, my physical is slightly above average, I’m 5ft 10”, 90kg. My current driver swing speed is 90-95mph. Thanks in advance
  9. is it still available? $230 shipped worldwide? Might be interested. Thanks
  10. Out of curiousity, I found a Korean site that looked like the official Romaro website, don't know why its not Japanesse site. http://www.romarogolf.co.kr/products/view.asp?idx=18&Catecode=1269568886 Can't understand the language of course, but they explain something about the star, which the categorized as the tour select iron.
  11. Hi Wmclaren, Thanks for the heads up....as though I'm quite sure that mine is a legit one, I'm quite surprised to know that there's a fake Romaro iron out there, since its not a popular brand (at least to "normal" people) and the shape of Ray H is quite complicated to imitate. However, is there any way to tell a fake Romaro iron? maybe from a serial number? And sorry for my noob, but what is the difference between a conforming & non conforming iron?
  12. Myself been eyeing fo Epon 502 for a while, but finally decided to pull the trigger for the Ray H, and shafted it with TT GS75. Anyway I just realized that my H doesn't have a star mark on it, does anyone know what might be the cause of that? https://www.dropbox.com/sh/i5ay5t3eqlo9k9p/4O4BoR6FZa#f:20130121_175003_0.jpg
  13. Hi guys, I'm new here so please be easy on me if there's something not right with my questions. I started into golf for like 4 months ago, and I bought a used Maruman brand golf set, consist of driver, 3&5 wood, iron (5-S), and putter. In this 4 month, I've replaced the driver with Epon 10, and the putter with Nike Method 003. I've also added a Tourstage X-UT hybrid to my bag. All bought in a used condition For me this far, iron is the strongest part of my game, because I still find it difficult to hit with the FW & driver. My current iron are using graphite shaft, and after tested my friend's steel shafted iron, I felt the heavier weight suit me better (his iron use NS-PRO 950). Anyway, I'm Asian, and I'm aware that NS-PRO950 is considered light for most of you guys here. So based on that, I was thinking to replace my current iron set. Actually I've been eyeing for an Epon 502, as I can only find good reviews about them, but for my current level of play (been only to golf course twice this 4 months, but I go to driving range at least 3 times a week) I felt that the price is a bit too high. So, my other alternatives at this moment is the Tourstage X-Blade GR Forged, or the Mizuno MP-59, both using NS-PRO950 steel shaft. So now to my questions: 1. Has anyone tried hit with Epon 502, X-Blade GR, and MP-59? How do they compare? from my understanding, they are roughly targeted to similiar level of play aren't they? 2. Based on question no.1, if price are being taken into consideration, which set has the best value if the prices are $1000 (502), $600(XBlade), & $500 (MP59). *THE PRICE GIVEN IS FOR COMPARISON ONLY, NOT THE REAL PRICE 3. I've read the long discussion about where JDM's iron are being made, and I understand that Epon are made in Endo (can be both Japan or Thailand). Does anyone has any info regarding where was the Tourstage X-Blade & Mizuno MP line being made? That's all my questions for now, hoping to get a kind answer from all of you guys. Thanks
