  1. May also be interested in NS Pro 950 stiff depending on lengths.
  2. I hit these extensively today. Wow, it's hard to imagine a nicer set of blades - crisp AND soft...really wonderful. The hype behind the 5002 is justified! Of course, the Ezones I hit along side are awfully nice in their own right, but I digress. I'm going to move ahead with the Satin finishing, though I think I'll leave one set of wedges Copper. Ooh la la...so nice, so fun. Somehow, I feel like having some French chocolate when thinking about these.
  3. Thanks for moving...I had no idea where to put such a post.
  4. Sorry for the confusion...that one pictured is not raw...that's Polished Chrome. That's the set I received. I haven't had the others shipped yet because of what I explained above.
  5. Guys, this is a bit of strange post...not really a WTS...more of a does-this-light-anybody's-fire post...bear with me... Blade Golf had a bunch of Miura 5002 sets made for them a number of years ago. They were made with Blade's stampings and shipped to Blade raw. Blade would do custom grinding, coat them in copper (yes, you read that right), and then finish them in Satin or Polished. Blade is done with their run of these blades (might have one more Polished set). I recently bought two sets of heads - one Polished and one that I intend to make Satin. The set I intend for Satin is still raw. In fact, it's the last set Blade has in raw. I had them send the Polished set first so I could decide if I wanted any changes to the other set before finishing. I can still have them sent with just the copper coating. If I keep them, I'll have them finished because they're buttery soft even with the finish; I can only imagine them with just copper. Actually, RIDuffer had a set like this, so he could inform. Anyway, I figured, before I finish these and destroy the opportunity for someone to have a new set of 5002s in copper, I'd see if anybody might want them unfinished.
  6. I like the idea of a heavy putter shaft...I might try that with lighter heads.
  7. I'm into simple beauty...the first one, I've never seen another...the BB-43s are among the most sought after Bettinardis...the Xcelerator is a rare one with the center cut out...the BBX-80 is melted butter...the BB-50 Long is on a belly shaft from factory...the BB-43H I'm not even sure I could part with...the BB-16H has never come out of my bag since I bought all these (admittedly, I took most of those years off of playing) and I throw it it here for kicks and giggles...
  8. Sorry if I missed it elsewhere, but I didn't see you mention if you got the Tour or non-Tour.
  9. Interesting point...guess I'll start 1/2" over and see how it goes.
  10. Are you guys shafting the Aerotechs at the same length as steel or 1/2" longer?
  11. Anybody have experience playing both the stiff and regular i95? I'm thinking of doing the regular for my everyday gamers and stiff for windier days. Is the ball flight a fair amount lower on the stiffs?
  12. Anybody try a Nunchuk? Edit: sorry, that was just lazy; didn't even search before asking.
  13. I have some experience with Iomic, which I like a lot, but Gripmaster has me a bit intrigued. What is the relative performance and useful life of the two? I'm also interested in hearing what other grips you guys like.
  14. And in non-value-added news: I've always known OEM to stand for Original Equipment Manufacturer.
  15. I saw this fairway wood in a local shop and am wondering if anybody has experience with it. The only markings are "Tungsten Weight" and "All Around Sole." Thanks.
  16. That's a beaut! I have thought about going 4W/hybrid - in one bag at least...
  17. Similar to this 5W, or something different?
  18. What year? What color is the paint fill on the bottom? I'm checking out a couple but don't know them well enough to know exactly what I'm looking at.
  19. Can anybody comment on fairways with similarities to the Miura Precious Edition - RC, Yamaha, others?
  20. Adams has/had a tour issue A12 Pro I don't like the XTD hybrid either, but I do like the A12 Pro - nice and compact and solid. The XTD fairways are supposed to be bombers; I'll try one in the next day or so.
  21. I just popped into my local pro shop and took out a Miura Precious Edition 5W with a Diamana shaft...that was sweet. Also tried an Adams A12 Pro hybrid...both were awesome and pretty effortless, but so different.
  22. Keeping my favorites questions alive as I move through the bag...now onto fairways. So far, Royal Collection Tour VS has got my [digital] attention on the JDM front, along with Bridgestone J33 and Adams XTD on the USDM front. What am I missing? Also, I'm considering one fairway and one hybrid (iron or otherwise). Any ideas on how much I need to step up loft in hybrids to get the same distance as a particular fairway? So, if I would hit a 18* 5W, would a 16* hybrid do the trick, or am I way off? I've never gamed a hybrid, so forgive the ignorance. Thanks as always.
