  1. Thanks. Couldn't decide to spend $850 for 2015 model (supper egg gold) or $1050 for the newer 2016 model (supper egg long spec). They are expensive!
  2. How is the performance of this non conforming driver? Does it go as long as your Super Egg?
  3. How is the distance vs the sub zero and the 2016 Ryoma?
  4. I think you have miss my point. The first thing I said is "I guess different swing type can benefit from different shaft" and trying to give my experience, and asking for examples on other shafts. I should also say using lower loft 9.5 and you don't need to tell me what is lower loft.
  5. I guess different swing type can benefit from different shaft. I remember one member had previously given good comments on the Boron/Type V combination and highly recommended it. Appreciate if you can provide example on stiffer tip shaft that's good for this head and what kind of golfers can use the Boron/Type V combination? BTW, the trajectory is not too high for me but I am using a 9.5 head. I actually found the low kick with low torque plus low loft head provide good trajectory and control (due to the low kick and stiff shaft)!
  6. The first time hitting the Maxima Type V with Crazy Boron shaft, the feeling is completing different with my old CB46 with 913 D3. I have a few mis**t and over swing. However, after a few driving range session, it is very controllable, with longer distance. I wonder the shaft needs time to wear in?
  7. I am also interested to know any recommedation on graphite. iron shaft. I am looking at replacing my MP53 950 nippon or the onoff 850 nippon with light graphite shaft. It was also recommeded once in here the Quadra 502i R is a good choice for speed and distance. Any suggestion, Gocchin?
  8. You can go to graphite design website, they have general guidelines based on swing speed.
  9. Thanks very much for your information. It's very helpful. As for comparison with the crazy shaft, can it be compared by the amount of elasticity in tension used by Crazy (i.e. 40t-80t). Or Quadra is using different technolody? Just want to understand more about the quality of graphite shaft, sometimes it is confusion with some many different methodology used by different brand. Quadra's 4AX SOF 100i graphite iron shaft is a high end 4 axis carbon weave design. (Amount of t?) Crazy uses 40t to 80t (depending on the model) full sheets of hand rolled carbon in all their shafts. Shafts are created with carbon fibers weaved together, and these fibers are measured by their modulus of elasticity in tension. Thanks.
  10. My current iron shaft is NP 850 R which I have been using foe more than 8 years. I am thinking of replacing with graphite shaft and couldn't find much research on which is good. I just switch to Crazy CB 46 for my Driver and love it. Is Crazy longest yard iron good? Want something below 850g. Any other recommendation? Thanks.
