  1. I know its a long shot, but you don't still have these for sale do you??
  2. Hey guys....long time no post. Need some help; a coworker of mine is looking for standard 2006 Callaway BB Irons or Ping G5 Irons, both in graphite. He will consider 3-PW, 4-PW, or 4-SW. Anybody that can help drop me a line on here ASAP. Thanks guys!!!
  3. Kinda leaning towards a Ping G5....anybody selling??? Any opinions???
  4. Hey folks, Been a long while since I've been on (mostly because I was happy with my bag and ddn't want to be tempted) but now comes time to replace the gemini. I'm looking for something BIG!!!! Any suggestions?? Anybody Selling???
  5. I'll throw in my pitch for a cheapo shaft. Price really isn't a consideration for me, but the shaft I've found that works for me is the Penley Stealth shaft. Its very inexpensive, but a great performer. I have the Tour X flex, at 43". The shaft keeps my ball in play, and I can feel it kick through the ball very explosively. I've tried some of the more expensive options from Fuji and Graffaloy, but I'm happy with the shaft I have.
  6. I may have an x300 FCI Muira forged 2 iron for you from my tour set. I'm currently playing them but my z101's should be here soon. My brother is taking the set but he may not want the 2 iron. If he doesn't, its yours. It has a DG S400 in it right now. 9/10 condition.
  7. Would you consider 250, I'm flexible but not much more, this would just be a back up set for me. Let me know, we can discuss.
  8. Thanks all, info was a big help. I took some of what all of you said and opted for the 15* smoothie. I do want something easy to hit off the deck that flies high, and it sounds like this is the club for that. I decided to stay with the 15 and not get a 13 for this reason, even if it may play more like a 4 or 5 wood. The club has a Penley Stealth 70 X in it which should keep the ball flight down somewhat and this should be a perfect attatck club for me on the par 5's. I really don't need the extra distance the 13 is going to give me because if I'm not hitting driver off the tee on a tight hole, I always go to my 2 iron. Likewise if I'm that far away from a par 5 and need the extra distance the 13 will give me to get there, I'm probally better off laying up and letting my wedges do the scoring. Once again, thanks all for your help!!! :D
  9. Maybe the shorter shaft, but I wouldn't think the 1/4" would make that much of a difference. I've never heard of the z101's having any kind of bias, just a very workable cb. Also, TS clubs are 2* upright than the typical US Specs, so perhaps that has something to do with your approach to impact causing you to impart a draw spin on the ball?? :?
  10. I have the opportunity to puchase either a TM 200 Tour Smoothie or a Ridgie, both in 15* which is what i'm looking for. The smoothie is quite a bit more money. Wondering what the opinions are as to which is better and if the smoothie is worth more money. Thanks.
  11. Yeah, its getting to be an expensive c lub Mike!! Here is my bag when I started and played all through college with this bag mind you: Driver: Callaway Original GBB 8* UST Proforce 75 3-wood: Callaway BB warbird 15* Rifle 6.5 Irons: Titleist 962b 2-PW Rifle 6.5 Wedges: Vokey 54 & 60 Rifle 5.5 Putter: Scotty Cameron Pro Plat NP II And soon it will be: Driver: Gemini Proto 9* Graffaloy Blue 3-wood: same BB, just a different club since my original one was wore out Irons: Tourstage Z101 2-PW PX 6.0 Wedges: Scratch Nickel 54 & 60 Rifle 5.5 Putter: Bettinardi Baby Bee 35" And on my signature you can see what the bag is right now, I'm gonna have to sell my truck soon to start paying for all this. But I do hae to say I love this site and find it to be very informative, even though I'm going broke because of it. :D
  12. Mike, don't quote me but I do believe the Baby Bee has a slightly heavier head. With me it was a matter of looks, as I think the pre-hogan bee is much sharper looking and pleasing to the eye. And to top it it all off I only paid slightly more than a retail Baby Ben for my Bee. Look around, there are some out there reasonably priced yet if you like the Baby Bee better. Sorry I couldn't be of more help, I dig around and see what else I can find out for ya. P.S. Who is that on your avater??
  13. Hey all, Just got off the phone with Ari. What a supper nice guy, not to mention how knowledgable and helpful he is. We were working on my wedges, a 54 and a 60. Its amazing how is able to take the info I give him and come up with a design that will work well for me. I feel so confident after talking to him that my short game is going to improve just from these wedges. I also wanted to mention the Z101's he has for me. He had a set of 3-PW that they re-did with a satin finish. I told him I'd take them if he could only find me a 2 iron, which is now next to impossible to find. He came through!! In about 4 weeks I will have 2 new wedges and a beautiful new set of satin Z101's. I will be sure to post pics when I get them for all of you to enjoy. Just wanted to post this to give a shout out to Ari and recomend Scratch Golf to everyone.
