  1. Some sweet-looking Yonex clubs now appearing in the Shop. Engineered for golfers with slower swing speeds, the new Royal EZONE series effortlessly add more distance to your game. By combining the latest technology and materials, this premium line of golf clubs is designed for distance. The Royal EZONE driver features Namd in the crown, which is a unique graphite that maintains its flex at higher speeds, creating snapback that launches your ball at faster ball speeds. Features - Vertical Polish - An innovative design that eliminates traditional horizontal grooves with a vertical polish to reduce unwanted side spin for improved accuracy and increased distance. Interesting they make these with open face angles - could have sworn most amateurs slice and not sure the open face will be a big help. Or maybe it does - never had an open-faced driver and don't want one. Also, seems odd to me they have technology that thrives on HIGHER SPEEDS and yet the club is made for slower-swingers. I must be missing something?
  2. Let's get into gear guys - surely someone in Japan can enlighten us further. I only have 19 drivers and time is running out to get another !!
  3. we are seeing some big $$$ being asked for premium golf equipment - I just paid $500 per iron for my new Titleist CNCPT sticks, but didn't mind because they are exceptional - IMHO. Always on the lookout for another driver and this one looks interesting.
  4. getting good reports about the new True Temper ELEVATE Tour
  5. The very eye-caching black/gold irons and woods are all part of a special CENTENARY set and these are only available as a complete set...for a paltry $16,000. Think that includes putter and bag, as it should. I'm informed that similar clubs and other planned designs will be sold individually from next year. Would like to see the coming products in the shop.
  6. Handsome is as handsome does...of course. We all know that a big price does not guarantee big satisfaction, but just saw photos of their full line-up and they sure look pretty.
  7. The equipment range features the finest forged heads, high performance steel and graphite shaft options, including Shimada and Seven Dreamers in flexes for all golfers, and superb grip options including custom leathers. The driver is available in three loft options, 9, 10.5 and 12 degree. A fairway wood, a Utility and a Hybrid complete the ‘wood’ line up. Irons from 3 through to PW in both a player’s blade and a forgiving cavity back option, three wedges and beautiful putter featuring the Bentley engine-turn milling across the face.

  9. Honma have the World, the BeZeal and the Beres options in drivers -- all promising different tech improvements and all at different price points. Customers would enjoy seeing a review on these - comparing the options so it might help in making a purchase decision.
  10. and the drama highlighted what a STUPID rule he was a victim of -- a ball moving without any outside (human) interference should never be a penalty.
  11. we all know you're a busy man so send me the new stuff and I'll get a review up in 48 hours. But you might not get everything back.....
  12. You easily notice that carbon badge on the back and it no doubt is there to help with sound and feel. Any mention of that ... or if it works .... in the review?
  13. The RS driver was released last July and we finally get a review of it on the BLOG.
  14. New driver showing up in the TSG shop and it has an interesting/unusual look.... hope someone can give us a review.
  15. the team is at the PGA show and very busy - that must be it
  16. There is a perfectly good reason why these new clubs are not showing up yet on the NEW ITEMS list in the shop - but I don't know what it is ?
  17. you completely misunderstand my comment..... I love them -- the "can hardly swing a club'" remark refers to a person's swing speed...... not their ability
  18. assuming these are worldwide release ? Can't be long before they appear on the TSG shop menu...
  19. the bottom line here is there are no clubs that only suit certain ages or swing speeds because you can manipulate them -- most of them anyway -- to suit whatever your needs are.
  20. and to think that spending a million bucks on the amazing Ryoma drivers didn't springboard you onto the pro tour...... join the club!
  21. They harp on the target audience being men and women who can barely swing a club but I've found you can reshaft these and have a really good weapon - suited to you regardless of swing speed.
