  1. if your looking for steel try a PX 5.5 if its graphite your looking for perhaps a Fuji Tourspec HK80 would be a great choice. HK80s are known to be great in FWs. BTW nice buy man your titty bag must be coming along.
  2. A good friend recently purchased some Tour Chrome PX shafts. I have never heard of these and was curious of any differences from the retail version. All PX shafts i have seen on tour looked like the recent model. Anyone got some info on this rare find?
  3. The Mac Tec putter is 200.00 shipped via EMS 2-4 day. Mac Tec is actually not that expensive at all, The entire MacTec line will probobly never make it to the U.S.
  4. Mac Tec NV3 by far it plays weak to flex very whippy shaft options available it is light high C.O.R, not expensive for a import club at all and also known as the longest driver in Japan. Many seniors play this club and get awesome results, I owned one and its still longer than my X390 or any TM i have ever owned.
  5. We have all been hearing the rumor of Maru signing with a company called Zomo. Zomo is a company that has appeared from nowhere building a large factory in Japan and creating some high end putters that i cant find any pics of  . Maru is not dropping Tourstage he will just be playing Zomo putters from now on. He changes putters almost every week and I guess Zomo caught on to this and decided to make any design or specs he would like as well as pay him big $$$ to play it. Shingo Katayama has signed with Nike, he was with XXIO but has made the switch from them. He is currently playing the MacTec NV Air 3+ putter.
  6. Depends on the Shaft drop me a Pm with specifics.
  7. That is one great looking putter, they are going for about 2k-3500 now but I have never seen a GSS insert version before. My guess is that these will be retail in 05. I hope
  8. Yeah Guys you should all be ashamed you dont know squat about these putters  j/k Bro Nino Im gonna make a guess that our members dont know much about them because they just arnt popular enough to open anyones eyes. I have never heard of them or seen one in person I could name hundreds of japanese clubs our members have never heard of so please take it easy on the boyz.
  9. Every X390 is made to order special order only. 9* is the only loft available the cool thing is ya got your choice of any Japan Fuji or GD Japan shaft on it factory installed at a great price. This driver is 1* open though so if your already hitting a left to ball flight you may have to tune your swing up a bit. I'm so in love with my X390 setup super long very forgiving i play a left to right ball flight and the first round with my X390 was hell after about 3 rounds I'm hitting this thing so well I think Ive found the driver for life  . I cant wait to get my R7 and put it to the test. I honestly think these are the two Big Dogs of 2004 but I seriously doubt the TM will make it into the bag I have bought 2 TPs, 2 DFs and 1 580XD Tour driver they were all very forgiving & long but felt and sounded like crap. I don't know many who have gone Tourstage then back to TM in fact i don't know a single soul. BTW the new Cobra 440SZ Unlimited Carbon crown driver just came out in Japan Ill post more info after i hit it next week.
  10. Id go with the Hiro Matsumoto Irons then XCBs then the CB1005s. I have hit all 4 and the XCB is best for my swing/game by far. The Hiro Ms are very forgiving and feel maybe better than the XCBs. The Miura CB1005s I owned didn't last very long the design was just to plain no real technology in them just a quality forged head and a basic design. Oh boy did them Hiros feel awesome though!
  11. Man how are you guys able to dump these they are great if not the best in my opinion. I could never part with my MR23 FWs. BTW great price man you are taking a loss big time. This club is sold out in Japan and retails at 44,000yen.
  12. Id just like to say that plus1 is a top notch guy honest and very easy to communicate with. No worries with him hes class act all the way.
  13. Usually i pull the ball because of a shaft that is to short for me or a closed club face. I have many probs in my swing so dont let it discourage you that it pulls for me. I really do like TS stock shafts.
  14. Just give it a couple more weeks and I will have a hardcore review of the X390 vs the R7. At the moment i think distance is maxed out and forgiveness is all that can be gained.
  15. I just ordered me a F/ST 9 Wood, It should be here in a few days but when hitting the FST #3 I pulled the heck out of it, Your right Hipcheck that click is sweet the face isn't shallow and it looks great. Also if anyone is into 7 ,9 &11 woods i suggest the F/HT ( high trajectory ) to have it land soft on the green with its shallow face,
  16. Sweet Pics! These look like the Tour Versions the retail looks a little more grey but if anyone is interested just drop me a PM they are to be released april 10th with the R7s.
  17. Hmmm, Its always rough getting the perf set for yourself especially at a young age. How about I trade you any driver for your swing speed  I suggest the X-Drive 390 & TM R7 Quad at the moment but I have been getting great results from my 7.5 titty 975D when my swing is money. Depends on what kind of shot you play or want to play as well as what you like and don't like about your current set up. Give us some details so we can help you better bro. I don't really care for retail OEM wedges anymore, there are maybe a few like the new Callaway Forged+, New Cleveland wedges & Fourteen Low Bounce wedges but wedges like Zodia, Scratch & the Tour MT-28s are always easy winners. I have purchased 12 scratch wedges already between TS girl and myself, we are both super pleased with scratch in fact i don't even get fitted anymore I just tell Ari what I need and he has everything on recored from the first fitting. So Far I like certain aspects of different shapes like the face profile of the Square shaped heads and the Back and overall shape of the round heads. I am in love with the Nickel finish its durable like chrome and looks different when compared to chrome or satin.
  18. Thanks for the great info! Your posts brighten up the site :D ThX
  19. Just drop me a PM after the 20th of march and i can give you the release date and instructions on how to get them.
  20. The MR23s are for the better player in my opinion. A lot less forgiving than the Miuras. The CB1005s lasted only a month in the bag. The MR23s worked kinda like a training aid for me, I had to really focus and strike the ball well with its small head. The CB1005s were great I just liked the look of the XCBs so modern so different.
  21. Im sorry everyone for the communication delay, As many of you know im still in hawaii. I have just spent the last several days trying to get a old computer to view my site with a 28.8 modem on the island of Kauai. I will be back on the 20th of March so if you have sent me Pms or e-mails please send another so i can better answer your questions now that i have some free time. Thanks for hanging on and again I apologize for the hassle.
  22. depends on the particular club. For example The 390 pro spec has many options but the MR23 & ViQ do not have. I usually mention when there are high end shaft options,
  23. Im still getting used to the open face on it. Prior to the 390 i was playing the NV3 & MR23 9.5 and one is .5 closed the other .5 open. My all time favorite driver is the MR23 9.5. The new 390 has the solid feel crackish sound of an X-Drive yet with also the deep hollowness of a larger headed driver. It does NOT feel cheap or weak its 100% Tourstage feel. The pro spec is 1 degree open as is the MR23 8.5 maru version, the prospec sits so beautifully from its address looking slightly open. the size is much smaller than a 510TP. The face of the 390 has full scoring lines different from the non conforming version. I am hitting it longer with this club than my MR23 but not the NV3. I am having problems slicing the ball when i get sloppy but the feel is incredible and it has that soft feel on center hits much like the 300 Tour had. Im able to get most Fujikura, Mitsubishi, and Graphite design shafts factory installed for a good price. Each of these drivers are made per order only the pro spec series is like this. I choose the Graphite W60 because 1. its one of the most expensive and factory installs are usually cheapest. 2. I love the specs as well as the feel of other GD shafts like the M85. I just wish they made an M85 in R flex because that shaft is stout in my opinion. I think all the GD shafts play pretty stiff I suggest the W60,W70 & M85 as well as the blue G. Im very happy with the 390 prospec in its every aspect. I think its for the better golfer with its open face.
  24. Yes shoes are no problem in fact anything you see from most companies including apparel I can get. I do not like to sell single headcovers and small items but package deals maybe a complete outfit are not as much of a pain. Please have the Item# if you are interested in apparel. I play the new Tourstage shoes ( White and Black ) they are gore-tex with lots oh high tech stuff on the inside and also a very soft material. They cost about 185.00 and thats not including shipping etc.
