  1. I found some on ebay with S200 shafts , I hit a couple of balls and thought they were way to lite. You couldn't feel the head of the club that well through the impact of the ball. So I replaced the S200 with Tour Concepts, brought the swing weight up to D5 which some of you will say is way to heavy, but what feel you get with a heavy club head if you have a smooth swing tempo from start to finish. The club head does all the work and I have enjoyed watching the ball go to where it is ment to go on the green. I have played Z101 & MR23 blades for the last 3 yrs, and I can say they will be going up for sale soon. Over the winter I have changed everything in my bag but my wedges & putter with no regrets. The R7 are by far a really nice set of forged irons made by a great company Taylor Made.
  2. When I got my R7 I thought the S200 was way to light along with swing weight almost D2, Pw D3,so I put in True Temper Tour Concept Shafts S3 Satin which knocked my swing weight up to E0. So I had to tare them down again and changed the swing weight to D4. PW D5. But I like a more feel in the club head!! They are a sweet set now!! They have my Z101/MR23 collecting dust right now. Do you think most Japanese irons swing weight is less than American made irons swingweight?
  3. I agree with you if they are a true players club, they are not forgiving to the game but when you make true contact with the ball wow what a feeling! I will always have the 6,7,8,9,PW in my bag. The 3,4,5, I never really hit that well, that is why I have a set of Z101 4,5,6, in my bag. I don't see me changing this set up for another anytime soon, I would like to try the 4,5,6, of Taylormade R7 FORGED Limited Edition they have my eye, but they look just like my Z101. The MR-23 are a real set of forged irons for a golfer that wants to shape shots and work at the next level pass a cavity backs. 450.00 includes shipping! No trades. Thank you for looking.

I would rate them a 8.5 Will take 700.00 dollars I have put a standard set S300 True Temper Steel, from my Z101 in them. They use to have PX 6.0 in them. All work has been done by a person I trust very much.
