  1. Brand new! Fujikura Speeder 661 X-Stiff shaft. The specs are: 46.5" / 71g / 3.3 torque / 0.335 / 275cpm. A true proven performer! $150 shipped within N. America.
  2. Incredible job, T. I think your job was tougher than those involved in the testing.
  3. T, will you be adding the software and usb in the proshop also? if so, how much is it? if i order i'd like to do it at the same time so as to combine the shipping costs. is the software going to be in japanese only? i hope it's also in english...
  4. thanks everyone for sending me your list of clubs. i'm in the process of figuring out which ones to choose. will let you know if i need your continued help.
  5. I'm looking for a full set of clubs in men's right handed regular flex graphite shafts that are newish, model-wise. They will be used by a mid handicapper so easy to hit, forgiving clubs that are well priced are best. Clubs don't have to be new but would like them to be in best condition as possible, eg, 8-9/10. The clubs I'm looking for are: 1. Driver in 9.5 at 460cc; 2. 3 & 5 wood; 3. Irons - can be 4-PW but need a SW; 4. Putter - blade type in 33"; Bag - cart bag. Let me know what you have (with pictures and prices). Email is [email protected].
  6. NICE ONOFF CB247!!! Are these available retail? How much? How do they perform? Who forged them?
  7. Just curious, do US residents get charged duty and/or taxes when receiving packages (clubs) from Japan? Does it matter what value is declared on the forms?
  8. it is too bad... i wanted it to work so badly. i love the look and feel. still think it's a great clubhead, just not for me. i love the epon 3 wood though.
  9. Epon was 9.5* (0.6* open) with Avix V-7076 & later reshafted with Fuji Pro70 X. TM460 9.5* (not exactly sure of face angle but seems slightly open) with ZCOM MW74 X-Stiff. The Axiv was probably not a very good fit with my swing, as it seemed a bit weak resulting in most shots going right. The Fuji was matched exactly to my swing and profile, although significantly better than the Axiv I couldn't hit the Epon with any consistency (even on good swings). The ZCOM was not fitted for me but thought it might work, and after a few rounds I must say the combo works! The TM460 head is so much more forgiving and longer for me.
  10. For me, Diarrhea's assessment is SPOT on! The Epon 460 driver is shorter and significantly less forgiving than most drivers I've tried. I am currently playing the TM 460 and it's absolutely longer and more forgiving. Contrary to popular belief, I've been told (by clubmakers) that Japanese drivers tend to have very small sweet spot. Although I wanted to love the Epon (investing heavily on a reshaft) it just didn't work. I had my worst driving stint with the Epon. I'm finally coming out of my slump with the TM. This is not to say that the results will be different for others. On the other hand, the Epon 3 wood is a different story. Long and forgiving. I was this close to giving up on Epon products but the more and more I hit the 3 wood the more and more I like it. I never thought that my TM 16* wood would come out of the bag but right now I'm going with the Epon more often. I don't even have to hit it well to get great results, it's amazing. Haven't tried the irons so can't say. I still have my Epon Copper X-Wedge 52* and like it, but it's got major competition with the TM Y Cutter.
  11. New irons time and am considering: 1. Taylor Made R7 forged (japan) 2. Tourstage X Blade CB2 3. Bridgestone J33CB Which would you choose (& why)? How do they compare in terms of feel, forgiveness, distance, etc.?
