  9. This is just my Opinion guys, keep in mind my views are probably different because i work close with putter makers and always strive to understand what it is we pay so much for. To compare the forged putters against others, I think forged are less sensitive making them better for the average golfer playing on slower greens. The ones i have hit feel soft/mushy when compared to SS putters. I do know the pro's don't ask for forged because it numbs their feel. I have heard from the mouth of a top Japan amatuer " it feels like im putting with my glove on ". I personally like the T.P mills / forged feel a lot, what I don't like about them is, the look of the finished product, it being hand made, no two putters will have the same exact lines, some people may like that. The lines are never perfect and if you are one that who is critical & looks for balance and symmetry in your putter from its top profile TP mills will throw you off. the toe shouldn't have a sharper or rounder edge than the heel and so on, also I know they feel great but how much weight goes where? Some R & D is usually needed before making a new putter and thats why Auto Cad and testing is used to make sure of balance. Speaking of balance the new G-Field proto's were scrapped due to 3g's of weight being removed due to engravings, I'm no pro or even scratch player and this shouldn't matter to me but when pro's do get their putter it should be tested and weighted exactly to their specs, if its retail the weight missing needs to be compensated for elsewhere. I was a T.P Japan collector even before i got into Scotty's, yes weld neck is cool but its an easy cheaper short cut, yes forged steel is cool yet it is one of the cheapest materials for putters. Gauge Japan has made some forged putters in the past, selling for 99.00 - 175.00, I'm pretty sure there will be a line of forged putters in 2005 costing much less than its CNC 303 counter part. Lets not forget guys I also push, MC ( Japan ) Bettinardi's, Golds Factory, and MOZ putters too, Gauge isn't necessarily the best in style or design they just have the best process IMO. You need to look at my putter above and you will notice that the top line is in perfect symmetry as well as the rest of the putter, im not sure what you're talking about when you say that MILLS will throw you off if you look for balance and looks because i had him weight my putter exactly at 363grams like i wanted so the balance is perfect at 33" as well as the head of the putter being perfectly balanced, and the feel just blows my bettinardi out of the water so maybe you need to check out the new MILLS putters bc he might be making them better than in the past im not sure but the one i received is perfect will

  12. the guy is talking about when you buy an authentic tour issued or college issued callaway club and you have a problem with it if you send it back to callaway expecting a replacement they will tell you you're SOL because its the property of Callaway Tour/College Dept. and it was given to the tour or college player not sold so the deal is since we get it free we're not supposed to sell it, Ping also does that but instead if they get sent a tour or college players club that was given to the college player for free they will keep the club and send the college player a bill for the club thats the whole purpose of the Tour ID label on callaway shafts and the serial number for Ping Clubs so they can track who it was given to
