First time I saw that and I thought I had already reached the end of the internet 3 or 4 times. :o I only got to Lvl 3 anyway. -

I would say that is a fairly accurate description of this guy. Some people will do anything to etch themselves into one's memory, I think he could have stopped after the driving part. E -

Good one. I could use a boost like that some days. -
I've played with my Ping Pal 4 for 7-8 years but I wanted to try the new MOI putters, so I now have a NC 35" HC Voodoo. If it works out I would not have a problem going between the two when my putting goes south. E

To tip or not to tip - NV75S & Spectrum head
ericm007 replied to ericm007's topic in Japanese Golf Clubs
I appreciate the advice, but I actually built the club over the weekend. I like a little head heavy feel so I dropped a 5 gr weight into the hosel and cut .5” off the tip to compensate for the difference in bore depth caused by the length of the weight. It has a SW of about D6, I was hoping for about D4, but I think the light Winn grip pushed it up. The total club weight is right around 330grs, which is not too bad. I hit it this weekend and I must say that it swings pretty good, I definitely don’t think I will have a problem hooking this if I put a half way decent swing on it. I plan to do a review of it when I get a few more rounds on it. Thanks again for the replies. -
what is the best steel shaft for a fw?
ericm007 replied to Godfather1's topic in Japanese Golf Clubs
I'll 2nd the Crossfire, I have it in a hybird and it does pretty well, like LP said it will get the ball up some. If you reshaft yourself make sure you cut it like you would a graphite shaft and not steel, or you could mess up the shaft. Don't ask me how I know. :o -
What's the best shaft to hit high drives?
ericm007 replied to rice12oketman's topic in Japanese Golf Clubs
The ones mentioned above are all good, just make sure you get a shaft with a low kick point, thats what will get the ball up. -
I has some stiff TT Lites in some irons a few years back and they weren't bad for the money, and not real stiff feel either. Good Luck.

You may want to try here also, they have a nice free and on-line SW program. Just enter the weight of the dowel, couldn't be much, and the other info and it will spit out the SW. http://www.swingweightestimator.com/
