  1. Just a question: Assuming that money isn't a factor and assuming that Tour equipment is superior to retail...what would be more beneficial to the majority of players? 1. Getting fitted by an OEM with their current line of equipment; or 2. The pyschological boost of having a tour played, speced set? Not a question if tour is better than retail. Just want to know if I should quit the set for the grail irons/driver and just see what equipment fits my swing with a good fitting.
  2. Answered all PMs and request for pics across all B/S/T ads. If you haven't received a PM, please let me know as some of my messages aren't appearing in my sent items folder. Thanks
  3. Patrick, I enjoyed your Maru post and wouldn't mind seeing more reviews so I'll ask a question. Have you hit the J340? How does it compare to the Maru if you have hit it? btw, 44 inches on the driver...do you get more control at that length? I am thinking it's better to sacrifice some length to find the center of the club face a few more times.
  4. Sam, Judging by your BST post, I would say your review was well received. BTW, have you tried either the NV or NVS in a 14* Rescue?
  5. Got this in trade, but another driver needs to go.... Taylor Made 300 Tour (R360 TOUR) on sole. This is the Japanese hi cor version, that is NOT on the USGA non conforming list. Due to limited production this Japanese proto was never tested. Penley ETA (blue) stiff shaft. The oversized winn grip has a fingerprint rub so may want to replace. 45 inches. .335 hosel. Good condition 8.5/10 conservatively. No skymarks. I believe it's 360cc, but next to my 300 Tour it seems bigger. Don't know if this is worth more than the TM 300 tour so I'll just ask for $350 the going 300 Tour price in the 9.5* loft. I love the head, but just don't feel like reshafting. For pics or details please PM.
  6. Joe if you need a lawyer let me know. You can pay me in clubwork...
  7. Trying to thin out my driver stock... I would like to sell a 983E 9.5 with a Fujikura 660TR tour spec stiff shaft. Shaft is fully inserted and plays to 45 inches. Excellent condition. Headcover included. Unsure on SW. Asking $300 paypalled and shipped. If any pics or details are needed please just PM me. Thanks
  8. All PMs and request for pics replied to. No completed deal yet, but some promising offers. Hope to move these within the next day or so. Thanks for all the interest!
  9. Doug, good to hear from you. Length is 38 inches on the 5 iron. SW about D2-D3. PX tuned to about 5.7 spined and aligned as confirmed from previous owner.
  10. So who won the horse race?
  11. Just got this set in trade (thanks Parputt-super classy guy) and while I prefer the smaller size and less offset on these than the TS202s, I have way too many iron sets to keep around. These TS201s are in solid 9+/10 condition. Blueprinted by the previous owner with PX 5.5. I sold my set of similarly set up TS202s for $685, but for som reason the TS201s are not as popular. I would take $575 or best offer on these. I'd prefer to sell, but always willing to talk trade. Thanks
  12. Jinjuwooa, I may not be the authority on blueprinting, but my understanding is that clubheads are adjusted so that they weigh, feel, and play consistently from iron to iron. When shaft lengths, grips, and heads are completed as a finished product a blueprinted PW should feel similar in characteristics as would a 3 iron. I am sure if you had more questions or for an authority on the subject you could ask Joe, one of the nicest guys in the business. His screen name is Joey3108.
  13. Fai's a great guy and his 983E is the only club that has survived some serious ho'ing of late. Toby, I'd trade all my bags for your offer...I am probably going to visit in December early January for my wedding. I'll try to convince the soon to be Mrs. that I am only bringing golf clubs so that you can demo them...
  14. Tourstage TS-202's 3-PW with Project X 5.5 shafts BLUEPRINTED to D2 swingweight across the board by Max at Psycho Golf. They are in great condition 9/10. Standard length, standard lie. The grips are the standard Bridgestone cord grips that typically come with these iron sets. The only real signs of wear are on the clubfaces. I used headcovers and there is no bag chatter. Asking $675 OBO. Taylor Made Firesole Forged 3-PW. The previous owner of these irons had them BLUEPRINTED to D3 with Dynamic Gold S300 shafts, 37.75" 5 iron. Lofts are 1 degree strong and lies are men's standard. Very good condition only minor bag wear and very minor marks from loft and lie adjustments. Typical ding marks on soft forged clubs. Sweet feeling clubs and very consistently matched for flex, swingweight, shaft orientation and balance. Asking $675 OBO. Live in Soutern California and always open to trade, but more inclined to sell these sets.
  15. any trades? Might be interested in TM 300 Tour 9.5* (plus cash) ,J340 or Maru US Spec driver. Also looking for Rescue Mid 22* and maybe a 14*. Would add cash for Miuras CB1005s. Will take $500 shipped for the club, don't want to be tempted to reshaft.
  16. Thanks Plastkman4. Like the club and the shaft, but I've learned through experience that I have to work too hard with X flex shafts.
  17. Sorry, don't know the swingweight. It sits slightly open to the naked eye.
  18. Hello, I would like to sell a R510 DF Proto. Titanium on toe, 10.5* with .5 underlined. 390 cc and shorter scoring line on heel. This is the prototype that many pros are still using. Plus a manageable loft that's hard to find. Hits it a little lower than loft. 44.5 inches. Grafalloy Pro Lite 3.5 stiff flex shaft. Spined and flo'd. Lampkin crossline grip. The previous owner painted T logo siteline with white paint. I haven't removed. Small scratch on toe of clear coat (still black underneath). Not noticeable at address, but you can see it when held a couple inches from the face. Might be interested in TM 300 Tour 9.5* (plus cash) ,J340 or Maru US Spec driver. Also looking for Rescue Mid 22* and maybe a 14*. Will take $500 shipped for the club, don't want to be tempted to reshaft. I am in So Cal if anyone local wants to buy or trade. Thanks.
  19. Would also trade for 300 Tour, 510DF, or 510 TP 9.5* or 10.5* and could throw in some cash depending on club and shaft. Always looking to trade so please make an offer if interested. Thanks.
  20. Selling an 8.5* 983K with NV65 stiff flex shaft (Green) "Prototype" on shaft. Club is 45 inches and solid 9/10 condition. Titleist Tour cord grip and 983 headcover included. Asking $300 shipped and payment via paypal. Always open to trade offers as well. Thanks.
  21. Sorry to join late. So the R360 Ti in the ebay auction is legal (but probably non conforming) and the R300Ti in Precision's picture in both illegal and non conforming? What is the R360Ti called...is it basically the Japanese non conforming version of the 300 Tour (holy grail) or just a retail 300?
  22. 9.5* with 660TR still available. Make offers or throw out trades. I live in Southern California if anybody wants to meet for local trades. Thanks
