  1. So I've been going to my Golf Pro for lessons the past 3 months.... We've taken apart my swing, and here is the evolution of my swing. 1. Swing Plane was too flat: Solution ..Swing back halfway then elevate. I think the elevation tecqnique has caused my swing to come outside-->IN 2. Casting on my down swing.. Pro recommended a few drills..problem almost fixed. So with my new swing...I find I am hitting the hosel every darn time..WEDGES IRONS & Driver. I've tried standing back, I've tried pump drills, setting up on the toe...NO MATTER What I do...I end up hitting the hosel or slicing the freggin ball! I'm frustrated and I'm about to give up the game..... I've been practicing and praticing @ the range with no sucess. Can anyone relate? Help! Suggestions...
  2. Thanks for your replies. My resulting shot shape is usually a very high shot (pop up)with a slight fade to the left. My shots have a tendancy to go left of my target. (I'm a righty)
  3. If my fingers are digging into my palm when I grip my clubs, does that mean my grips are too narrow? I currently Use Midsize Golf Pride Tour Velvet grips with 3 wraps of tape inside. What is the right size of grip. My local proshop has a measuring device, but they can not definatively give me an exact answer. Is it more of a personal thing or both? Most clubs off the shelves are standard size, and I assume consumers dont normally change the grips....
  4. I keep hitting my R7 at the heel of the driver. While using impact tape all the impact happpens at the inner and upper part of the face. I cant hit anything dead centre. HELP!!!!!!!! My new R7 is really taking a beating! Is my swing too steep? I've tried addressing at the toe first hoping to avoid the heel hits, but it doesn't help. Thanks in advance!
  5. Thanks for all your replies. I've decided to go with 10.5 regular flex.....Hitting them longer and straighter than ever. Getting lots of hang time too! Cheers!
  6. I think the late Moe Norman had a ten fingure grip, and he was the best ball stricker to ever live.
  7. Hi: I'm a 20+ Handicap and my swing speed is about 90mph ave. I did a launch monitor analysis a few months back and they recommended a 10 degree loft with a reg flex shaft. I'm in the market for an R7 Retail version Would I be better off with a 10.5 degree Driver with regular flex or Can I get by with a 9.5 degree Driver with regular flex? THX
