  1. "what do you guys think of MTM va OTR?" Chris, for an avid golfer with an eye for details, would you buy your clubs of the rack? ;-) Bespoke all the way. Cifonelli and Camps de Luca in Paris Great guys, fantastic fabric and an eye for details. Simply magnificent. But it is not cheap. Enjoy Alex
  2. I like the idea, interesting combo. With the custom options available, are these going to still be as soft to play as my SB1?
  3. Thanks for the info. These have peaked my interest. I would be interested to see how they play against the Aerotech and UST Mamiya recoil. Anyone playing the recoil yet? Thanks. F
  4. Cool info Stew as always. Thanks for sharing. I am going to have to look into the carbon shafts for winter play. Weather in UK and France is terrible but that not stopping me! Just wondering Stew if you or anyone had a chance to look at the new Fuji MCI? Cheers, F
  5. I for one really like to the tourmodel and am thinking do I need another set of blades. hmmm I think hell yeah. T, are you stillopen to orders? Stew, how are you going to dress these pretty ladies Any idea on shaft? Or will it be another chapter for your book shaft testing your trials and tribulations? ;-) Don't suppose you have any spare monacos lying around?
  6. Thanks guys for the responses. The boys are 7 and 5. The eldest has been playing for 2 years and the youngest for over a year. They are both hooked! I did look on tourspecgolf after posting and did find some cool sets. You are right Chris the Tourstage look good. So do the PRGR, Mizuno, and Honma. Riduffer, thanks for the uskids info. The boys are already playing us kids clubs, so do all his friends! Wanted to bring the boys to the dark side of JDM :-). Got to give them the edge! Tario will pm you shortly. The first birthday is end of October is it too late to order? Thanks, F
  7. Hi All, I am in the market for some new clubs for my boys. As a JDM blade fanatic I was curious to know what do japanese or asian golfers buy their children? Which JDM makes junior clubs? Thanks, F
  8. Now this brings back good memories and tears (of pain)! My father has always been a Mac Gregor and Hogan blade Man. And I learned with his Hogan Directors then got hooked and felt compelled to get a set of Apex which I still have to this day. (to my wife's despair). I agree with Stew and Ant. The Apex were firm, hard, unforgiving and crisp. Not everyone's cup of tea but that's what I liked at that time. Then discovered Miura and Kyoei relagating the apex to collect dust but that's another story!...
  9. Good going Stew looking forward to the feedback but I can't stop thinking, what is happening to Stew only 3 sets to try on course! Surely you must have some other supa dupa protos in your cave gagging for an outing? ;-) Enjoy! F
  10. Wow good job C! Now I am sure a few here amoung us would get into satinizing mode big time. Since you got practising and home your technique fancy doing a few more sets ;-) My Miura blades and wedges could do with a bit of botox satinizing to erase all signs of ageing! F
  11. Chris, Did you finally make the jump and tried these irons in the end? Or anybody else? The neo blade concept is growing on me. Geotech RF700 and the Romaro Ray H have got my attention thus far. Thanks, F
  12. Interesting concept. I agree with Chris, I kind like it, perhaps worth experimenting. I must admit it is growing on me . Anyone has experience with geotech irons how do they feel let's say my bench miura and kyoei blades?
  13. Chris, Thaks for the reports fromthe show. Stew is rather quiet. Has he been converted to the green side and does not want to admit ;-)? Stew, You must have something to say about rbz! Common spit it out. Is it realy that good? I am sure I am not the only one wanting to know! Thanks chaps. F
  14. Stew, thanks for sharing, Did you ever get a chance to try the new PXi? Should your SB 01 need a new family your old PPM would welcome them in the brotherhood ;-).
  15. The more I look at them the more I want them..........................The Headcovers! Those are really cool looking. With such great headcovers they are bound to play great! Just wondering if someone has played both the TRC and the On Off to do a little feel comparison. Hello Stew, Calling Stew on line 1, Any feedback to share! ;-) F
