  1. I was personally told the r7 was Beta ad the TP was SP-700 by the Director of TM Metalswood division about 2 months ago. I dont care either way but I'm guessing he would know. BTW a differing Ti metal would not require any different tooling or facilty either Well, I heard a different story from TM. But let's be frank for a moment ... even if you're right ... who cares? .... what does it matter????? Are you gonna score better because of that? So, why don't we agree to disagree. haribo
  2. Again, I tried all of them ... in the moment I moved the weights around or changed them they all started to feel identical. That's the beauty of this club, you can create the feel you like. haribo
  3. Hornyjuan, The entire R7-R7TP-R7TP Tour debate .... you know what ... I couldn't care less. Don't give me the "You gotta try for yourself or you won't belief the difference" crap ... I tried all three of them, went with the retail R7 (oh my god, hope nobody is going to faint now), got some additional weights and put an accra sc75 in it. Guess what, i couldn't be happier. haribo
  4. I don't know about the States but here in Canada there is about a CDN$ 300 difference between the R7 and the R7TP. Consider the additional weight kit and the Fuji Speeder and you know why. haribo
  5. The different metal story is BS. Both heads get produced in the same plant. haribo
  6. TP has square to slightly open face while r7 is square to slightly closed. Other differences are as already stated, .350" hosel and no additional weight kit and no tm coloured speeder 757. Otherwise no differences. haribo
  7. Can't wait to read some more in detail reviews on this Max Black ball. Thanks, haribo
  8. no, not yet but soon haribo
  9. just wondering ... what model is shown in the first pic, the cb's??? Thanks. haribo
  10. check out Accra SC75 ... have one in a R7 (non TP version). About same weight as 757, plays with lower trajectory and tighter dispersion due to less torque. Because of that you'll also get more roll. I believe Accra shafts are available in Germany. haribo
  11. Nice ... Mr Quigley has an Accra Tour series shaft in that puppy ... now that's a combo I'd like to try. haribo
  12. I still stand to what I was saying ("Keep TSG real. Take the hype somewhere else.") but I apologize if I stepped on someone's feet. The BSG reference just made me see red. In the last while there are a lot of people showing up here from that other forum, posting only in the B/S/T folder. Not that this is a bad thing, don't get me wrong, but it would be nice if these people would realize that this is a different forum than their old one and treat it accordingly. Hope what I'm saying makes actually sense. Anyway, sorry if I offended you and good luck with your sale. haribo
  13. checked ebay before posting earlier but couldn't find it anymore ... anyway, sorry fo a not so warm welcome but we all here have enough from the artificially created hype on that other forum. what's so special about a Cleveland tour club anyway other than a .335" hosel?
  14. Well, that's maybe where you should sell it for that price. You might have more luck there. No offence, but one of these in 9.5* just sold last week on ebay for way less. BIN was $450. Plus, it came with a way better Fuji shaft. Keep TSG real. Take the hype somewhere else. haribo
