  1. The iron looks good to me but I'd rather have a satin finish. Can we order custom finishes yet?
  2. There's a shop here in HK which has a couple of the G-Field M2+s. Selling for US$400 so I declined. Can help you get it if you don't mind that price. PM me if you want.
  3. Awesome driver for the low handicapper. Indeed not the most forgiving but if you strike the ball with consistency, this driver will deliver a beautiful controlled ball flight. Looks awesome and feel is not your tinny Japanese feel - rather a slightly muted solid feel. I had a 9.5* which I gave to a young scratch golfer and you could immediately see how he hit it longer and straighter than his Titleist 907D2 w/ Proforce V2. I then got another 9.5* plus a 10.5*. Settled with the 9.5* and gave the 10.5* to a friend who's a 5 handicapper and the guy loves it as well. My last round I hit it consistently long and missed 1 single fairway. Shot 4 over due to average iron play. This driver is the real deal.
  4. I bought the DVD and it did help me. The round I played after watching it I shot 76 with about 5 missed birdie chances within 12 feet. Just so happened I couldn't buy a putt that day. What I like about his simple teaching is; 1. Take the club away on the inside. 2. Swing it outwards. 3. If you've seen the DVD, they use a model airplane to demonstrate the swing plane and the image has really worked for me. His methods helped me crunch the ball that week and hit my irons really solid and on line. I'm a lazy mofo and haven't watched it since but am still working on those simple images. This probably worked for me because my common error is to not slot the club early enough on the downswing. Forcing you to visualize a 4 o'clock to 10 o'clock swing is good for me.
  5. Ordered my 52* and 58* in black. They look very nice and hope they play even nicer!
  6. I should have been more specific on the feel factor. Nothing like the tinny sound and feel you usually get but rather a slightly muted, almost persimmon-like feel which is 100% pure.
  7. The X445 is great. What distinguishes it from the X460 is the feel. I think the shaft and head are well matched and gives a penetrating ball flight. Not as forgiving as the X460 but I just love the feel. Hit it on the screws and the ball flies. I have the 10.5 * as well and have not noticed any real difference in yardages on the simulator. The ZR700 is a very solid driver. Very straightforward. Good distance, good forgiveness, but not even close to being as sexy as the X445. The X445 is the sexiest, classiest looking driver I have ever seen. Never leave home without it!
  8. I knew it wasn't close to $300. Told them "you guys can't get rid of them and the company has gone under so you should be dumping them". Their reply was "so they have become collectors' items". Idiots ;-)
  9. Came across a shop in HK which still had 3 brand new ones. I can't recall what they used to sell for new. Shop is asking $295. Anybody remember the price?
  10. Happy Holidays and Happy Golfing to all. Maybe 2008 be filled with joy, laughter, health, prosperity, and plenty of Birdies!
  11. I'll bet these are targeted at a very small segment in Japan and will never make it to the US Just a horrible looking line of clubs!
