  1. The new toys and updated bag look great. Well done.
  2. Great looking bag...very similar to some of my setup. How do you like your RAC TP Blades?
  3. I think the Idea Pro with the right shaft is probably the easiest hybrid on the market for controlling trajactory. I feel I can hit it low and high, with a nice penetrating trajactory. My problem is also the shaft...I really like the head, but am also fishing for the right shaft...the stock 'VS Proto By You' is a bit light and too low of torque for me...I am an NV guy who likes the 'freq.' and feel of those in my woods, but the 'By You' seems too tight on torque and I can't really feel the club head on the down swing...I might go with the NV Hybrid 105-X...anybody play this in there utility club?...and how does it play? JF
  4. Today, I tried my 510TP vs my J33 460 on the range, then on the launch monitor, because they both have a sweet feel, setup, and produce very similar results, but the J33 460 had just a tad better result in terms of ball speed on off center hits (obviously due to the 70 cc size difference)...but these are two very similar drivers in terms of set-up and results (spin, launch, ball speed), but the feel is definately different...the J33 460 might be one to try. 510TP a great backup for me though...I play a Diamana 83-X in the TP and NV-75 X in the J33. Two of the best drivers for all around performance with some workability IMHO.
  5. Nice Cally Set Up. You'll have to let me know where you got that grey Circa 62 Cover. Very Nice :-) JF
  6. Pretty Simple (I gotta do my own...always): GP Velvet Std. Full-Cord Rnd. (+4 wraps, Logo Down): Woods and Irons GP New Decade Multi-Comp. (+4 Wraps, Logo Up): Wedges Pingman Blackout: Putter **For some reason an 'almost' midsize grip feels perfect for my hand size for the swing and a very small grip feels perfect on the flat stick. I am a total feel player so, you can tell, once I found these grip combos I don't plan on changing for a very very long time (like those players on tour who still play victory grips...same deal).
  7. I try to keep it simple, straight-forward, and traditional. Bridgestone has done a great job outfitting me thus far. Enjoy.
  8. Heading off to ebay today...just a heads up.
  9. All else standard (length, grip, lie, etc.). Includes matching headcover and is BRAND NEW!. Thought I'd post it here first to seek interest for a couple days...than it's off to ebay. $110 shipped and paypal'd anywhere in the continental US. Let me know of interest via PM. -JF
  10. Does anybody know where I can go (preferribly somewhere in So Cal) to get a wedge stampt on the back flange with a different loft? I have a 60* Bridgestone J33 Black wedge that I want to bend to 58* and would like to have it stamped to give it a clean look and accurate detail of the new true loft. Thanks. JF
  11. Great Set. That Sonoma is really classy looking. Nice set of blades as well. I was between those and the new CB from Bridgestone and decided on the latter, because it sets up just like a blade, but with just a touch of help. Now I just need to get them. What type of trajetory do you get with those blades? Anyways, nice looking set up. JF
  12. Yeah, that driver is sick! I love mine...and it is absolutly hands down the best driver I have ever played. All the rest of your bag is pretty sweet as well. What wedges are those that you are playing? They look really good as well. Sweet Bettinardi...I would love to aquire one. Great Bag! JF
  13. I have a RH Studio Stainless Newport 2 Centershaft Prototype w/ matching headcover in a solid 9/10 condition. Looking to trade for a Tour, Proto, or Special Issue Cameron at the moment. I like the plumbers neck or "S" neck hosels better than CS personally. Does not have to be in perfect shape...as it will likely be put in the bag to play. Please no significant gouges, dings, or rust in vital (in sight at address) areas. Will consider adding some monetary figure to the trade (if necessary), but would like to keep it a straight swap as much as possible. Some models/styles I am interested in: Tour Newport Tour Newport 2 Tour Newport Beach Tour or Retail Napa/American Classic VII SS Black Pearl Newport 1.5 Proto ...just to name a few ***Also will consider trading a 7.5-8 out of condition RH J.A.T. Proto w/ matching headcover WITH the other CS Proto if the putter that I would receive is in great (near mint) shape, rare, or something that I really have always wanted...(i.e. more than likely a tour Newport of some kind) For pics see my current WITB under "Rolla's Bag of Tricks" -- JAT is in the bag there, and CS Proto is on the bed. Let me know what you have via PM and we'll go from there. Thanks. JF
  14. Solid Bag! I played those irons in the same lie angle color and found that Ping's clubs are much more upright than they used to be as a std. That was the last set of cast clubs I played and will ever play...but still one of the best Ping players clubs around.
