  1. OK, I see now. My brother did the same thing to some Callaway irons with his dremel tool. He then got carried away and went to the driver and ruined it. So I kind of put any dremel on golf club ideas out of my head.
  2. That's satin-izing, not satan-izing. Lately, I have been seeing sets of z101s for sale that have been 'satinized'. Are they being sent out to be done, or is there an at home process to remove the chrome that people are doing? If you remove the chrome from a set of z101s are you not screwing with the swingweights and addiding the possibility of rust?
  3. Is this the black mallet? What did you lengthen it to? Condition?
  4. Did you ever find out if you can get your name scripted/etched on the soles like the Tourstage staffers?
  5. Not that one. It's a cool putter, but I am not into putters made for a tour pro that are a completely different than the one they actually put in play. While that putter was made for TW, there was no way he would ever play it or play a similar set up. That alone turns me away from any idea of $10,000 for a putter. But people are crazy, more power to them. I cannot knock them. Thing is about Scotty's made for TW, there are more out there than one would think. I have had two pass through my hands and it was not hard to part with them. I was able to sell the putters, and buy 20 other tour camerons. And after further trading, in the end I still ended up with a two GSS Newports that were identical to TW's current putter. The only difference was no Tiger Woods stamped into the bumper. And guess what? I sold two of those too. Simply because the offers were too good to pass up. As a longtime collector of Cameron's some days I have a lot of passion, other days I don't care. It's cool when you uncover a rare putter, or one with a story behind it. But to throw around $10K just because you can to get a putter no one else has. I have been there, done that; that part of collecting is long gone for me. The only made for TW putter you would ever find in my collection is the one in his bag. Without some documented wins in the putter, it's not worth the crazy prices out there.
  6. When will Japan learn that the "us vs the rest of Asia" mentality serves them no good in the long run? The U.S. is already finding out they do not just show up and win, you better be solid to take on a whole continent, but at least the U.S. is what, 20x the size of Japan??? Visa should save their money.
  7. Does it have an underlined loft on the sole? "TITANIUM" on the toe? If it has those two items, it is a DF. Without those two items, it still may be a DF, but a rare one and possible refinished.
  8. You ever try the X-01S ? Much better feel than the X-01 and not much difference in performance. I have not tried the S. My friend brought back from Japan a dz X-01s in the gold/black checker box. The ball performs like the new Bridgestone Ball that everyone is raving about. Except the X-01 does not have the garbage cover that scuffs whenever a wedge bumps into it like the BS Ball.
  9. What an awesome golf ball. Is there an identical US branded ball in the market place today? Nike One Black seems very similar.
  10. Armani, Maserati, Bettinardi??? LOL. I like Bettinardis, but that is one funny statement, not to mention a little full of himself. How about Luigi, Spaghetti, Bettinardi?
  11. As part of this wildly awesome custom process, can you request to have your name etched on the soles? Sort of like Izawa and the other Tourstage staffers have on their soles?
  12. Scary thought with that wedge. You play nine holes all the while using the wedge a lot, picking up your orange ball cleaning it on a towel but getting rust on your fingers and under your finger nails. You eat a hot dog at the turn. You die by the 14th hole from poisoning. Was it the hot dog or the wedge? Funny idea for a contest, I can just see a lot of people spraying their oldest wedge with saline every hour in the sun.
  13. Wow, I thought I got a good deal on mine, $675 shipped to have them this week is pretty damn good. Someone buy these.
  14. When did TSG become an online dating service? We keep it golf related. DM gives me putters, I give him head. Anyone else looking to give away some putters? You'll have to wear a rubber or wait until my herpes clears, but send me a PM if you're intersted. LarryPro F'g with my B/S/T ad, just what gay friends are for. Well....I suppose to be politically correct, I have to pretend to have some gay friends. You two for the bill just fine. Biggie Smalls, and Smallie Smalls.
  15. Fourteens and Mizzy wedges are sold....
