  2. I've used a set of Aerotech Steelfiber 110i's in my J40's and 125i's in my wedges for most of this season, honestly the best iron shafts I've ever used and we all know I've used a lot!! BB
  3. These Yamaha blades are literally the best looking irons I've EVER seen in my life, I want a set so bad, I'm lobbying my Wife big time...BB

  11. Thanks Stew, I recently picked up a mint 2010 V201 non-tour, don't have it yet but I'm getting excited about the possibilities. I want a new one as well, can anyone compare the new models to this one??? BB
  12. Being form the US and always a traditional Titleist guy Yamaha has always appealed to me, just feels like the Titleist of Japan to my eye and taste (cold be wrong however). I've owned two sets of the Tour Model irons and truly wish I hadn't sold either, I can't wait to game a driver soon...BB
  13. Ok time to begin the the Wife process on this one, quick question boys, what is the shaft tip diameter of the 2010 V201 (not tour) model driver? Thanks...BB
  14. Hey boys, I'm looking for a 60gr mid kick shaft to install in a new project Yammie driver (2010 V201), would be willing to trade this GD DJ-6 for the right one, this shaft is incredible just want to try something different. I will pull the Tititleist tip and prep if you have no use for it...BB
  15. Hey T can you send me a PM and let me know what type of deal Chris is talking, thanks Bro...BB
  16. I have Steelfiber i110's in my irons and i125's in my wedges, without question the best steel replacement graphite irons shafts in the business, SO SOLID! BB
  17. Not a US based product and I'm guessing at the price points will never be, the JDM market is full of highly engineered product that simply would never fit the US model based on demand for low cost alternatives...BB
  18. Oh I'm liking where this thread is going...BB :)- I would die for an actual loft Yammie Tour, would they happen to hand pick lofts or are we talking about Tourspec stash??
  19. These shafts are being talked about quite a bit, very smooth yet tight due to the metal incorporation, very popular among the folks looking for a TRUE steel replacement and suffering from joint pain. I will be shafting a set of J40's with these soon...BB
  20. I've ALWAYS wanted a Yamaha driver, I need to save my pennies and FINALLY make a move. Supo67 you know I will be coming to you first....BB :)
  21. If Yamaha releases an adjustable driver I will be FORCED to buy one, I've always wanted to game a Yammie...BB
  22. I see it differently, I utilize adjustability to fine tune a properly fitted club, it's also nice to have multiple shaft options without the pain of re-builds. All very valid arguements no flaming necessary...BB :)
  23. I have not noticed any weighting issues associated to my adjustable drivers, quite the opposite they have worked extremely well for me. I've been surprised at the level of fine tuning and how much it effects performance, it very simple to remove most of these tips and allows for easy access to many shafts quite quickly. Maybe early models suffered from this extreme wreight variance (Callaway I-Mix, etc) however the modern versions are very well made and show very little tolerance loss. The ability to adjust lie/loft independently is the real game changer, aka Titleist and Callaway Razr Fit Tour Authentic. It's only a matter of time before the Japanese brands refine development and utilize adjustable technology, zero reason not too...BB
