  1. I concur with the gentlemen's comment about very soft and not hard too hit. Excellent purchase. You will not be dissapointed. Good luck
  2. As I mentioned in my previous reply, I has a set of the CB-1006 and swithced to the CB-202. I prefer the CB-202 because it helps me control the ball flight while set up as a blade and I think it is a little more forgiving than the CB-1006. I also think it may have a softer feel at contact. Then agian, it could also mean that shafts I have may make a difference. I had the Nippon 1150 GH tour on the CB-1006 and I currently play the Super Peening Blue by Nippon. Both are excellent sets but I prefer the CB-202 Hope this helps
  3. I recently purchased the Miura CB 202 and they have barely have any off set. I personally think that the CD-202's are alittle better in the sense of shot shaping and feel with a little more forgiveness. I had a set of the CB-1006 and definetly like the CB-202 better. Great CB / blade irons I have had. Then again it is all about preference. Hope this helps.
  4. I strongly suggest you try or look into the Super Peening (Blue) from Nippon. I just had them installed in the Muira CB-202 and could not be happier. Feels like butter. I have has the 1150 GH Tour and they feel nothing like the Super Peening (blue). However, they are not as light but they do produce a lower ball flight. I have a super high ball flight and I am just simply amazed how much these shafts have dramatically lowered my ball flight. These shafts weigh about 125 grams. You can look into them and their specs in thier website. wwwnipponshafts.com. I am not really sure if that is their website. In conclusion, one of the best shafts I have ever had. My handicap index is 1.4 and I am very picky about my golf equipment. I would never recommend anything that I do not feel strong about. You can also look into the Shimada AC steel but they do not produce a lower ball flight than the super peening (blue) by Nippon and they are lighter in weight. Let me know if this helps
  5. I have a set of the TC-1000's for sale if interested. I just has the Nippon 1150 installed. Great set of irons. Perhaps the softest feeling irons I have ever had. I just ordered a set of Muira CB 202's with the new Nippon shafts called super peeining (blue). I am also a 2 handicap but looking for irons that set up more like blades with very little or hardly any offset. The TC-1000's have very little offset but looking for less. I beleive that the Muira's 202 have what I am looking for. They also have a square toe wich I love. That is the reason why I am selling my TC-1000's. But they are highly recommended. If interested let me know and I will send you pics. I have had them for only 3 weeks now. hardly used, maybe 6 to 7 rounds and range time. let me know if interested
  6. Do you know where I can purchase a Paradiso bag? I have been looking for one for quite some time now and can not seem to find one. I have been a member of Tour Spec Golf for about 2 years and would like to know if anyone can help find a bag like the one pictured above. Sweeeeeeet bag. Please let me know
  7. Any feed back on Fourteen Blades TB-1000? I currently play Fourteens TC-770 and they are exceptional irons. Great, soft feel. However, I am looking for a little less offset and some forgiveness. I know blades are not as forgiving as cavity backs. I have a 2.1 handicap index. I am considering purchasing the Fourteen TB-1000 irons. I definetly want to stay with Fourteens because of the super soft forging and I am a huge fan of all their equipment. Any comments would greatly be appreciated
  8. I have the Type J's and the TC-770 forged. I can tell you that the TC-770 are much softer and a little more forgiving than the Type J's. However, the TC-770 has a slight more offset that the Type J's. The Type J's at set up are much more classic looking. But one of the most important factors I look for in irons is the feel. I have to say that the TC-770 forged are perhaps the softest feeling irons I have ever had. I have had the Miura CB-201 and the CB-1006 as well as the Type J's. There is absolutely no comparison in softness and forgiveness. TC-770 are the best irons I have ever had. I am currently have a 2.1 handicap index so I hope this helps a little. I strongly recommend the Fourteen TC-770.
