Doesn't happen that often. Might have expected a bit of a write up here given he used mostly PRGR tools to do it.

my buddy still plays his with a GDpt7s, wont let me change it over for him for something newer.
goes to show, if ur comfy with a head it helps so much.
Went to Ping for a season then came back and fairway stats improved. Length is about the same for me.

Very interesting keeping irons same.
Here in QLD our greens actually get firm and quick in our dry winter, so an iron set with a few more revs of spin can be good.

Yes indeed, but not flipping often. Need to stay with a set for a while to score well.
Latest experiment is exact same driver setup in 9* and 10* lofts to suit conditions. One goes with one iron set and vice versa.
Madness or clever I don't know. Hypotheses through to experiment is a fun process!

The old Tour AD SF9x in a Royal Collection 18* head. Not as stiff as it sounds and feels and flies so true. SF series still very good shafts!

I have been playing the old solid (legendary) Yamaha 460 10* with a Quadra 2014 Proto shaft and so far, for overall performance, nothing beats it.
Found another of these shafts, so let's see if this head can claim the top spot. I have high expectations!!!
