  1. I hope someone has some info on this. I have a set of pro's and pro II's that I was considering getting rid of. Some info might convince me to keep them.
  2. Sorry man, but he totally juiced. Didn't he gain like 25-30 pounds over an off season? I played major college football and can tell you, without a doubt, that it is impossible to gain that much lean musle in that amount of time naturally. You could gain that much weight, and your average joe at the gym that is lifting weights and gaining weight fast is gaining fat and muscle. He will tell you it's muscle because he is lifting weights but it's not. Couple more points.....If other players are doing it, and it's legal in MLB, why not? I think he would do it just to stay competitive w/ other player using. Blame MLB. If it was legal in other pro league everyone would be doing it and for the same reason. Once it works it's way into the sport, everyone else is forced to keep pace with users.
  3. Heineken Light for me. For us who maybe have a couple more than we walked off, new Becks Light is supposed to be very tasty and 68 calories a bottle! You're right on w/ the Silver Bullet.
  4. When I asked my local builder is I needed my new PX's pured he basically laughed at me. Totally unneccesary for any metal shaft, in his opinion. They are going to spend 2 years of R&D money in developing best materials, manufacturing process, etc. and not think to send them out aligned? I would have to think that in all the different R&D expenses, marketing, in bringing a product to market, frequency testing to find some kind of idea where a consistent flex is located is a small piece of the pie for a manufacturer. I realize there are inconsistencies in manufacturing, like with anything, but most of these after purchase services are just ways to supplement vendor profit since manufacturers have made the margins retailers have to accept very tight. Why do you think Golfsmith make you order new grips in a kit? Because there is more profit in their tape and solvent and some stupid tool than in the grips. He also said most of the inconsistency he sees is with prototype or limited run shafts.
  5. Yeah, I think it was on an episode of "Playing Lessons from the Pro's." The episode with John Daly.....says he plays a softer flex in wedges for feel. Made it sound like it was common. But, he was using graphite shafts at the time so maybe that played into it.
  6. The frequency police are out! I play 6.5's and I am no where near +2. I went with 6.5's for the extra weight as 5.5 and 6.0 are same weight and -10 grams vs S300 if I remember right. Anyway, since you sound like a player, just wondering why 6.5's in the wedges also? Heard some pro's like softer flex in wedges for feel even if they play stiff irons.
  7. Where did you get your "heads only" set?
  8. I've heard bulge and roll can wear on drivers. Don't know about FW's.
  9. Great fix guys!!! I've been going back and forth from TSG to random sites for reps and everything seems to be working beautifully. Can go right to the homepage and then straight in to forums, pro-shop, etc without a hick-up. I felt kind of bad complaining about the slowness, but if you jumped on this problem this fast and this well, your customer service on purchases must be pretty impressive. Hope to make my first purchase with you guys soon. Really appreciate the professionalism!
  10. Anyone else noticing that the site "freezes" when you first get on it? I try to click on forums, proshop, etc. and nothing happens. Does this to me everytime now. I think it is the videos that now automatically start playing when you get on. There is no "x" or way to close the video from playing either. Just wondering if anyone else has noticed this or had this problem. Thanks
  11. Love the new EPON J's, really. And must admit it would be fun to have something rare, but why not the J33's instead? They are....... -forged by EPON -made in Japan -satin finished -1020 carbon steel -and available for $450 brand new online Not trying to start another Ozik TP-7 debate over $$$$, but can someone help me see the light? Thanks Meant forged by Endo, of course.
  12. Duffer19- Got so excited to see my T-zoid Pro II's show up in a post a had to reply......How do you think Mizzy's from '90s compare to now? Craftmanship, materials, whatever? I still love mine. Had the Pro's before my current Pro II's. Thanks for your thoughts.
