  1. I am REALLY surprised how much spin the Nike balls have.....AND how close they are together. I would have thought them to have a LOT more separation in the spin department.
  2. I just saw a set for sale. I think it was on GO. $380, very good condition. (according to the seller.) I would also recommend the NDS irons. VERY forgiving and a bit easier on the eyes. Good luck.
  3. I requested one too, it is on the way. TOTALLY FREE. NO CHARGE, not even for shipping. Not often you get something totally free!!!
  4. Nike One Black!!! VERY durable!!! Have used them for a round + in some cases.
  5. The putter sold for $10K. It is totally legit. As stated, the buyer called Scotty himself. Scotty comfirmed the authenticity, and rarity of the putter. With a LOA from Cameron, and a letter from Scotty stating the uniqueness of this putter, this putter maybe worth over $10k. This is a one of a kind putter made by Scotty himself for Tiger....it is not Newport, it is a JAT TW. Not sure you can even put a price on that. Limited edition replica TW putters were selling for $3000-$4000. This is a one of a kind, hand made.... :surprize:
  6. Heard an interesting tid bit this weekend from the local golf shop owner....Tiger switched due to the size of the club. Purely speculation, but it makes sense. After going from a 300cc or 340cc driver to a 410cc and then the 460cc, can you imagine hitting the 970. The Driver to 3 wood transition from a 460cc Ignite to the 970 3 wood would be visually difficult, to say the least. IT would make sense that Tiger's switch was due to visual perception from his new Super Sized Driver. JAT.
  7. In the grass at 240 yards, yes. But they say it is VERY easy to see in the air. Thus it is being used on Par 3 holes on the PGA Tour. Not on Par 4 or 5 holes. It would be fun to play with. Different, but not orange or yellow.
  8. Probably a Typo in the CNC Milled programing. Just a mistake!!
  9. There were pics on another forum. This is NOT a hex pattern, but it is a 100% coverage with circular dimples. The tighest way they fit together produces the illusion of a hex pattern, though it is not. It very much looks like it, but they are circular dimples, not the Hexagonal dimples a la Callaway.
  10. Since I couldn't find one going, I started a group for TSG on Yahoo. This is a private group in Yahoo Fantasy Golf. We'll play for fun, and points. Here is the info. TODAY is the deadline to sign up (I Think) The first Tourney they score is TOMORROW!!! Group Number: 16011 Password: tsg Come on and join Kids. It will be fun!!!
  11. The 6-Iron in the front is the Pro Combo Tour (Retail model) The Iron in the back is a Pro Combo OS.
  12. Speculation like this without any proof does not help anyone. We could make up all sorts of stories, and it is just a waste of time. Maybe Todd traveled into the future to get them? Any "What If" stories are really no help to anybody.
  13. I like those Ti-Face Pro Combo's!!! Are they a lot more forgiving than the standard Forged Pro Combos? Thanks for sharing!!!!
  14. I would say you are not legal. You are playing a driver not found on the list....but you KNOW it to be Hi-COR which the USGA deems illegal. You are a cheater, and worse off you know you are and continue to do it.
  15. Heelman: it is general practice that only the seller decides who is getting what. To lay stake on an item, and openly delcare that you have preference is rude. Kr0nic (or any seller) has the ultimate say in what will happen to that club. Just something to think about.... That said. PM sent Kr0nic.
