  1. This is a great set of PRGR Super Egg Irons. I believe they are a 2018 model. My asking price is $550. I purchased them from the original owner two years ago. He only played a few rounds, and I probably put 8 rounds on them. They are great for those who want distance! They play like irons, but feel like hybrids. They have the original M-35 shaft and grips which are all in great shape. These are designed for people who just want to enjoy the game and get some distance! They tweaked the lofts and distinguish the iron faces as "high repulsion," so the golfer who averages 160 with a standard 6 will easily hit 185-200. I have original head covers for all except the 6! I was originally going to keep the A wedge, but decided to include it, so it’s pictured separately. It has a M-37 flex, but I don’t really notice any real difference. It is the best 110-120 yard wedge I have ever had. Here is the link on TourSpec for them: http://blog.tourspecgolf.com/new-prgr-egg-irons-review/. I can be reached here or at [email protected].
  2. I need this settled for piece of mind, were these ever an actual thing and do these look real or not?? Purchased from a older man that has been running a fitting shop from his home for many years. Best regards!

  7. I found these on eBay and I am considering buying them, but have concerns about the unusual grinds, and how they may effect turf interaction. Are these more art than functional irons?

  9. First time poster here, Greetings TSG! I need help in identifying the year and lofts to these Yamaha Inpres GRX irons. Couldn't seem to find much information on the old Yamaha catalogues or anywhere else online. I know for sure these are not 2008. A guy at the local driving range had me try some, and it was the probably the best feeling club I ever swung. Tried the 6, and it was LONG and FORGIVING, lofts are probably jacked up strong. I just want to know how strong.
  10. SOLD. Thanks TourSpec!! These are the SEVEN heads from Tourspec with which I played 3 rounds. There a special soft forging of S15C steel. Epon Irons

I must have a JDM bug. I just put up my few months old Callaway Apex irons (with Recoil shafts) for sale at my local Golf Club and am on the hunt for some nice irons. (5 - PW preferred). Reading so much about Epons, I thought I would try them for the first time. However, blades are too difficult for me to hit, so sorry. I found the Recoil shaft in stiff too stout and feel heavy with the Apex head for me. I definitely would like something with a little more kick in the Epons. FYI, I have a driver swing speed of 100-104 and a smooth-aggressive swing and transition. 1. Would the Roddio I-6 work for me or are they too light? What weight should I be considering ideally. (I do realize that I may have to work with the shafts that come available at this moment in the sets offered). 2. I do have a set of NS Pro 850 steel shafts (which I pulled off my old OnOff irons) lying around so could possibly consider a set of heads. However, I did like the shift to graphite... I would love to find something like an R+ or SR if they come that way. PLEASE PM ME, so I can keep track. And thank you to the FMs and TSG who helped me fill my bag with woods already. Thanks.
  13. The new PRGR Super Egg Iron, pretty interesting I was about to brush it off until I say the minimal offset and wondered if PRGR is on to something. #Powered by Eggs #Ilikeinnovation
  14. Looking to sell my Fourteen TC-710 forged irons with NSPro95. 5-PW stock lies and length. Its geared for players who want forgiveness combined with workability. The softness is addictive. Good condition. 8.5/10. Looking at $650, excludes shipping. Trades can be discussed. Feel free to pm. Thanks / Mep
  15. Selling an excellent set of ONOFF FORGED irons. These are premium ENDO forged Japanese club heads. The set consists of 3-PW, AW. That's 9 total clubs. The irons are shafted with premium UST Mamiya Recoil Prototype 95 gram F3 (regular flex) shafts. These shafts were professionally installed by a UST authorized shop. These shafts are not available retail. The shafts have been hard stepped once so they play like a firm. The grips are Winn Dri-TAC Mid size grips. This is a beautiful set of irons that cost well over $2000 dollars. Asking for $1400 plus shipping. Wii accept PAPAL ONLY.
  16. Here's a set of Miura CB-501 irons that I played around 10 rounds with. As you can see, they are in very good condition with just some minor bag chatter and adjustment marks on the sole of the club. These irons are standard length with a 38" 5-iron and NS Pro Modus 3 120 stiff flex shafts. They also have red Golf Pride Decade Whiteout grips with the logo facing down. Grips and shaft logos are in excellent shape. The 5-iron face pic exemplifies the rest of the set. Asking $750 + $30 S/H for domestic US buyers. I will only accept PayPal.
  17. Included are some videos showing Yoro craftsmen through the entire process of making custom irons for customers. <object id="flashObj" width="486" height="412" Customer orders are beginning to roll in now and I will blog about each order but also post a pic or two of each club and its specs here as well as some of my impressions. Forum member jimmieboi's MP-69 are up first. First time seeing the Twilight finish in person. It's like a dark chrome finish that looks different from every angle. I am usually not a fan of mirror chrome but this Twilight is quite classy, Especially since jimmieboi asked for no paintfill except his name (sky blue name to match sky blue iomics). Beautiful iron! More photos here: http://www.golftoimp...twilight-mp-69/ Next up are Craig's MP69 with W sole grind and the beautiful double nickel satin. This is how satin should be done. Mizuno blue paintfill, white for CRAIG. are all a nice touch. More photos here: http://www.golftoimp...e-nickel-mp-69/ Up next are Doug's MP-69 and MP R12 Wedges. Doug is one of the first to go for the black with gloss finish. He went with less offset in the irons and had a 60 and 54* wedge changed to 59 and 53* and Mizuno even restamped the lofts for him. Will add the blog link in a bit. Up next are Ed's MP-69 done in a very classy Double Nickel Bright. No grain flow forged and no paintfill in any of the logos except for the stamping MINT done in gold paintfill. Here are Dr. H's Double Nickel Bright MP-69. W sole grind and no paintfill in the logos. Dr. H done with purple paintfill. Look awesome! More info and lots more photos on the blog! http://www.golftoimp...l-bright-mp-69/ Here are vistancia's Twilight MP-59! The First MP-59 set and they look awesome! More on the blog here with many more pics: http://www.golftoimp...twilight-mp-59/ We got our first set of custom MP-33 irons thanks to Mike. Beautiful Double Nickel Satin in 2-PW!!! and matching 3 set MP R12 wedges. More photos here on the blog: http://www.golftoimp...-mp-r12-wedges/ We got our first set of custom MP-64 in thanks to Peter. Another great double nickel satin finish with less offset and a rounder sole to prevent digging. Matching MP R12 Wedges too. Both shafted with Mamiya ATTAS 7 irons shafts! More on the blog soon! Here is another awesome set, and our first set of custom MP-63 from Yoro. This is in fact Dr. H's second set! More on the blog soon! Here is another set of MP-64! We've got an awesome set of black gloss MP-69 for SAVANT... great idea to do no paintifill with the black! Chin's amazing Twilight MP64 and MPR12 Wedges just came in with no paintifll!
  18. <a href="http://www.golftoimpress.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/10/DSCF4763.jpg"><img'>http://www.golftoimpress.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/10/DSCF4763.jpg"><img class="aligncenter size-full wp-image-21460" title="DSCF4763" src="http://www.golftoimpress.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/10/DSCF4763.jpg" alt="" width="648" height="248" /></a> Tourspecgolf was invited to the ONOFF 2013 New Collection launch so I headed out yesterday to Shibuya to check out all the new gear for the new year. Every year they hold their launch event Ebisu/Daikanyama area which is just south of Shibuya. <a href="http://www.golftoimpress.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/10/DSCF4792.jpg"><img'>http://www.golftoimpress.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/10/DSCF4792.jpg"><img class="aligncenter size-full wp-image-21462" title="DSCF4792" src="http://www.golftoimpress.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/10/DSCF4792.jpg" alt="" width="648" height="432" /></a> While Shibuya is a constantly busy and buzzing area of Japan packed with color, lights, fashion and people, Daikanyama is more old fashioned and along with Ebisu an eclectic mix of different levels of dense residential tightly mixed with new developments and classy boutiques and trendy bars and eateries. <a href="http://www.golftoimpress.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/10/Untitled-13.jpg"><img'>http://www.golftoimpress.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/10/Untitled-13.jpg"><img class="aligncenter size-full wp-image-21463" title="Untitled-1" src="http://www.golftoimpress.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/10/Untitled-13.jpg" alt="" width="648" height="648" /></a> I snapped a few shots of Daikanyama during my walk from the station to the Granada Suite where this years ONOFF even was being held. As always ONOFF is about style and image as well as golf and it was quite easy to pick spot where the even was being held by the strategically placed signs leading to the even and in front of the even itself. <a href="http://www.golftoimpress.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/10/DSCF4694.jpg"><img'>http://www.golftoimpress.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/10/DSCF4694.jpg"><img class="aligncenter size-full wp-image-21464" title="DSCF4694" src="http://www.golftoimpress.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/10/DSCF4694.jpg" alt="" width="648" height="432" /></a> As always I was met by Yuki-san our overseas rep for ONOFF here in Japan. As always she was a great host and able to spend a good 2 hours with me going over the new products, their design changes as well as talking about ONOFF going forward. I of course got the chance to snap a bunch of pictures as well which I will post here. Keep in mind I will not be going into specific details about each model since I will get demos and do official reviews on each club in the coming months. This blog is just to give an idea of what is coming out. <a href="http://www.golftoimpress.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/10/DSCF4695.jpg"><img'>http://www.golftoimpress.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/10/DSCF4695.jpg"><img class="aligncenter size-full wp-image-21466" title="DSCF4695" src="http://www.golftoimpress.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/10/DSCF4695.jpg" alt="" width="648" height="432" /></a> One of the most popular all around forged irons has always been the ONOFF Forged (or Black as it has been called in the past). The Forged blends very soft feel matched with forgiveness, distance and control which appeal to a very wide range of golfers, from better players wanting some forgiveness to average golfers wanting a premium forged iron to take their game to the next level. At first glance the new iron does not look all that much different from the previous model. One great thing about ONOFF is they have always understood that a great product does not need to be completely overhauled but rather tweaked to become better. If you look at the evolution of different models in ONOFF's line you can see this pattern of models improving through small design changes and new technologies while maintaining a similar look. <a href="http://www.golftoimpress.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/10/DSCF4764.jpg"><img'>http://www.golftoimpress.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/10/DSCF4764.jpg"><img class="aligncenter size-full wp-image-21468" title="DSCF4764" src="http://www.golftoimpress.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/10/DSCF4764.jpg" alt="" width="648" height="432" /></a> So while on the outside, the 2013 model looks a lot like the 2011 model its dimensions have changed as well as CG point thanks to a thicker ridge added towards the top line on the back cavity. The Toe is a tad taller and the length of the iron heel to toe has shortened to make it subtly more compact, the sole is also slightly thinner. The thicker top cavity portion actually raises the CG to create a stronger more stable trajectory with more spin. The taller toe also contributes to this adding more spin control. The most obvious visual change is the new laser milled face which looks awesome. I said I wasn't going into too much detail so I will leave the rest for my review. <a href="http://www.golftoimpress.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/10/DSCF4727.jpg"><img'>http://www.golftoimpress.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/10/DSCF4727.jpg"><img class="aligncenter size-full wp-image-21471" title="DSCF4727" src="http://www.golftoimpress.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/10/DSCF4727.jpg" alt="" width="648" height="432" /></a> <a href="http://www.golftoimpress.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/10/DSCF4734.jpg"><img'>http://www.golftoimpress.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/10/DSCF4734.jpg"><img class="aligncenter size-full wp-image-21472" title="DSCF4734" src="http://www.golftoimpress.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/10/DSCF4734.jpg" alt="" width="648" height="432" /></a> <a href="http://www.golftoimpress.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/10/DSCF4737.jpg"><img'>http://www.golftoimpress.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/10/DSCF4737.jpg"><img class="aligncenter size-full wp-image-21473" title="DSCF4737" src="http://www.golftoimpress.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/10/DSCF4737.jpg" alt="" width="648" height="432" /></a> ONOFF has two new drivers for the 2013 season, the Type D Red and the Type S Black. These have all new looks to them and quite a few changes in design including shape and size (the Black is now 430cc from 460cc and more pear shaped) and weighting. I'll go into more detail during my reviews but they looked great and set up great (the Red has a gradient black and red crown that looks awesome). The stock shafts also look great with gradient colors mixed with black. <a href="http://www.golftoimpress.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/10/DSCF4744.jpg"><img'>http://www.golftoimpress.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/10/DSCF4744.jpg"><img class="aligncenter size-full wp-image-21474" title="DSCF4744" src="http://www.golftoimpress.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/10/DSCF4744.jpg" alt="" width="648" height="432" /></a> <a href="http://www.golftoimpress.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/10/DSCF4739.jpg"><img'>http://www.golftoimpress.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/10/DSCF4739.jpg"><img class="aligncenter size-full wp-image-21475" title="DSCF4739" src="http://www.golftoimpress.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/10/DSCF4739.jpg" alt="" width="648" height="432" /></a> While the Type D fairway wood and utility stay the same for 2013, ONOFF has released all new Type S Fairway Arms woods and Fairway Wings utility. Both feature visual changes as well as considerable changes to the face design creating much larger sweet spots and more responsive faces on both. The weighting has been adjusted and has become variable depending on loft for the Type S and the head has become more compact while maintaining its deep face. ONOFF Fairway woods and utilities are always very high regarded at TSG for superb performance and feel and the new models should be no different and most likely improve on previous models. <a href="http://www.golftoimpress.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/10/DSCF4726.jpg"><img'>http://www.golftoimpress.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/10/DSCF4726.jpg"><img class="aligncenter size-full wp-image-21476" title="DSCF4726" src="http://www.golftoimpress.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/10/DSCF4726.jpg" alt="" width="648" height="432" /></a> Recently there has been a revival boom of Hi Cor non conforming drivers in Japan. The launch had the new GIII 460HR Driver. Not many people know GIII which was originally created by Daiwa Golf as their premium wing to go up against the likes of Honma Beres and Maruman Majesty. All GIII clubs are completely made in Japan from the most premium materials and feature designs that focus one ease of use and distance performance. The new GIII 460HR looks very nice and with nearly 0.88COR is designed for higher launch with lower spin for max carry and run. GIII has also decided that not all players get along with longer drivers ie 46.5" and they believe a shorter length will allow more consistent ball striking which I completely agree with. The 460HR is available in 45.50" lengths and for the ladies at 44.00". Best of all for a premium model with in house high modulus carbon shaft, it is priced far better than any other premium Hi Cor driver. <a href="http://www.golftoimpress.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/10/DSCF4750.jpg"><img'>http://www.golftoimpress.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/10/DSCF4750.jpg"><img class="aligncenter size-full wp-image-21478" title="DSCF4750" src="http://www.golftoimpress.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/10/DSCF4750.jpg" alt="" width="648" height="432" /></a> <a href="http://www.golftoimpress.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/10/DSCF4704.jpg"><img'>http://www.golftoimpress.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/10/DSCF4704.jpg"><img class="aligncenter size-full wp-image-21479" title="DSCF4704" src="http://www.golftoimpress.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/10/DSCF4704.jpg" alt="" width="648" height="432" /></a> <a href="http://www.golftoimpress.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/10/DSCF4713.jpg"><img'>http://www.golftoimpress.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/10/DSCF4713.jpg"><img class="aligncenter size-full wp-image-21480" title="DSCF4713" src="http://www.golftoimpress.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/10/DSCF4713.jpg" alt="" width="648" height="972" /></a> <a href="http://www.golftoimpress.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/10/DSCF4776.jpg"><img'>http://www.golftoimpress.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/10/DSCF4776.jpg"><img class="aligncenter size-full wp-image-21481" title="DSCF4776" src="http://www.golftoimpress.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/10/DSCF4776.jpg" alt="" width="648" height="972" /></a> Besides the new clubs there were a huge assortment of new clothes, bags and accessories. Pictured above are the new two tone caps and the new pro model limited edition Caddy Bag. The clothes look fantastic but at this point are Japan only. Their new Soft caddy bags feature a soft leather like material that looks and feels super premium. Once again thanks to ONOFF for having me and make sure you check back in coming months for more in depth reviews of each club. In the mean time check out more cool accessories from the ONOFF Launch! <a href=" sure to check out the discussion thread in the forum!</strong></a> <a href="http://www.golftoimpress.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/10/DSCF4715.jpg"><img'>http://www.golftoimpress.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/10/DSCF4715.jpg"><img class="aligncenter size-full wp-image-21482" title="DSCF4715" src="http://www.golftoimpress.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/10/DSCF4715.jpg" alt="" width="648" height="432" /></a> <a href="http://www.golftoimpress.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/10/DSCF4747.jpg"><img'>http://www.golftoimpress.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/10/DSCF4747.jpg"><img class="aligncenter size-full wp-image-21483" title="DSCF4747" src="http://www.golftoimpress.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/10/DSCF4747.jpg" alt="" width="648" height="432" /></a> <a href="http://www.golftoimpress.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/10/DSCF4707.jpg"><img'>http://www.golftoimpress.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/10/DSCF4707.jpg"><img class="aligncenter size-full wp-image-21484" title="DSCF4707" src="http://www.golftoimpress.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/10/DSCF4707.jpg" alt="" width="648" height="432" /></a> <a href="http://www.golftoimpress.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/10/DSCF4749.jpg"><img'>http://www.golftoimpress.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/10/DSCF4749.jpg"><img class="aligncenter size-full wp-image-21485" title="DSCF4749" src="http://www.golftoimpress.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/10/DSCF4749.jpg" alt="" width="648" height="432" /></a> <a href="http://www.golftoimpress.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/10/DSCF4752.jpg"><img'>http://www.golftoimpress.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/10/DSCF4752.jpg"><img class="aligncenter size-full wp-image-21486" title="DSCF4752" src="http://www.golftoimpress.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/10/DSCF4752.jpg" alt="" width="648" height="432" /></a> <a href="http://www.golftoimpress.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/10/DSCF4774.jpg"><img'>http://www.golftoimpress.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/10/DSCF4774.jpg"><img class="aligncenter size-full wp-image-21487" title="DSCF4774" src="http://www.golftoimpress.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/10/DSCF4774.jpg" alt="" width="648" height="432" /></a> <a href="http://www.golftoimpress.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/10/DSCF4771.jpg"><img'>http://www.golftoimpress.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/10/DSCF4771.jpg"><img class="aligncenter size-full wp-image-21488" title="DSCF4771" src="http://www.golftoimpress.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/10/DSCF4771.jpg" alt="" width="648" height="432" /></a> <a href="http://www.golftoimpress.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/10/DSCF4722.jpg"><img'>http://www.golftoimpress.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/10/DSCF4722.jpg"><img class="aligncenter size-full wp-image-21489" title="DSCF4722" src="http://www.golftoimpress.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/10/DSCF4722.jpg" alt="" width="648" height="432" /></a>
  19. I'm looking into the 930 but I prefer the finish of 910. Any significant different of the two? They seem to have the same design until to the muscle at the cavity with just the exception of having longer muscle for the 930. Would appreciate all your thoughts. Thanks!
  20. I know that I don't post here, but lurk quite a bit. I have been a member of other golf websites for many years and would gladly give my user name to anyone interested in the irons I have for sale. Up for sale are my pride and joys. They have been gamed for two seasons with the normal amount of range time you would expect for a serios golfer. The sweet spot on the 7-PW show wear but still spin the ball better than any new iron with the "conforming grooves". The ONLY reason that I am selling these is because the tournaments that I play in will require me to use the conforming grooves, ie, US Am, US open qualifying etc. Epon AF501 with PX 5.5 hardstepped 1 time.
