Kamen Posted April 25, 2014 Report Share Posted April 25, 2014 Hi guys, I am going to Japan by myself from June 4-15, 2014 and was wondering if anyone there could help give me some tips? I am kind of confused with the JR Pass system. I am going to buy one but not sure if I should pay for the Green or Ordinary pass. Anyone used one that can help me out abit? My itinerary: Fly from Vancouver to Tokyo June 4 Leave Tokyo for Osaka on June 8 Visit Okayama June 11 Fly from Osaka to Naha June 12Fly from Naha back to Vancouver June 15 I have some friends I will meet up with there but I will most likely be alone for the Tokyo portion and definitely solo for Okinawa. My self travel would include the train ride from Tokyo to Osaka, Osaka to Okayama and back. It's my first time travelling alone but some stuff happened and I really need to get away.
