Most Jdm fw has square or closed face angle so what's the logic or advantage of having open face angle on PRGR woods, especially fw and ute?

PRGR just always charts their own path imo, The open face allows player to after it with less fear of hooking or pulling the ball left. It's very common on UT's to require open but FW's not as much as even players woods are square. Hit them also have clients who are not strong players with a slice issue hit this FW smooth and aggressively and we can only see the spec helps, now is that in combo with something else they designed into this head to counter it? maybe.

Look up the spec of this fw and it's a unheard of 6* open. There must be a design concept for such 'openness' then just to prevent hooks. Does everyone hook their fw?

I stand corrected, it's 3 degree open . The ute seems to be 6* instead.

Yup 6* on ute 3* on the FW, it's in the design I tell ya because I'm not one who sould be playing 3 or 6* open nor are some of our customers who have these and are love them rounding out their sets on Nabla RS woods because they hit these well. Something must counteract the effects of the open face but this is PRGR,.. we have seen this before 7.5* driver that plays like a 9.5-10 extremely stable.

This open face intrigues me. I've long had many of my drivers and woods custom made to have open faces; (especially when I bagged Epon).

From personal experience I can say that the utilities I hit are by far the easiest for me to hook/draw. Can pretty much dial that up whenever. My utes have always had square faces but it must be the design in general of wood style utilities. I would say that the design lends itself to being able to draw/hook readily.
