More like a wide blade/ mallet - not seen many around so hoping someone that actually have one is willing to let it go

nice RS! I'm confused a bit by the older and newer yamada lineup. I have essentially the same putter but with a plumber neck and it's literally called the Wide Blade Goose. I'm not 100%, but could have sworn I've seen a similar shaped one before somewhere called the sumo. confusing to say the least, but all are awesome!

Hi needmoregolf

I am puzzled as well

Evidently the shogun comes with only heel shafted. The design is exactly the same as the wide blade

The wide blade comes in centre shafted and plumbers neck as well

Your guess is as good as mine!

I tried to order a new centre shafted wide blade but was told it does not exist anymore

The plumbers neck is called the sumo

thanks for the info RS. my guess is that the name "goose" became "sumo" or vice versa, but the main thing is that both have plumbers neck. personally, I wish mine said sumo instead of goose, esp with all the negativity surrounding the term "goose neck" lol
