I can't find anything to match these things in terms of proximity to hole: if someone comes up with something similar please let me know!!! BOLDs were closest but too much offset in 52/56

Here ya go supo67, S-30 Power Blades.

I did bag the 8,9 & P, for a period of time and enjoyed them. No longer good enough to hit the longer irons.

Thats another thing I love about Japan, the best club makers all have these ratty beat up wooden tables, none of these stainless steel table pristine club making rooms.

u shud see my builders room, its sheer madness, but he knows where everything is. it smells like its a work room, glue, ground steel shavings, paint.., theres hardlyenough room for 3 people to stand in. I love going there, I spedn tons of time w watching hi ply his trade.

and watching him make my latest madness!!

My guy's not in Japan, however he works from home on a wooden bench. Next time I'm there (what's the time now?!?) I'll get a photo.

So... I'm still a JDM nubie. What are some of the legendary JDM irons? I see these pics and have no idea what I am seeing.

I'm not really looking. Just curious about what I am seeing here and to learn more about JDM history and what's considered rare.

gamed these yesterday. I didn t even look at the shafts these had.

so when I saw DGs400 my arms shook in contempt hatred and despair!

37.5 inch classic old school jdm

I really had no idea what to expect.

first shot hole 1 with the pw to 10 feet kinda allied anyfears I had.

then the next hole, with 3 balls crisped with the 3 iron , really set me on edge.

\

these are NICE. even with those hideous shafts,, these are nice.

theyar eplayers irons no doubt, they have a decent old goose neck I nthem , esp the wedges, and the SW is a ping shape or a shingo onoff shape triangle for slicing flops.

they play like the most deadly blade imaginable.

these are scimitars.

my mizuno itch................. has been scratched.

I cant wait to seeh ow these go with NS 130s In them

I think they still qualify as.... "retro " .

no?

It's USDM but still very cool:

This is a Driver Built in 1999 for the late Payne Stewart... but, obviously, circumstances led to him never picking it up. Tag reads - Great Big Bertha 8.2 Degree. 45 Inch. D3 Swing Weight. Tour Velvet .580. Fenwick Eagle 7.0

2007 Yonex Nanov Cyberstar. These heads are small, 1/4 shorter in height than Yamaha forged. But they are one of the most solid feeling irons I've hit. I hated the look the first time I saw them, but they grow on you. Could not find any reviews of this model, rarely mentioned on Google anywhere.

Also a Honma putter from years back, LB-206 Type-1.
