Epon 703 and 213 -- Shaft Size / Shaft Recommendations

Hi-

I'm looking to reshaft a set of 703s and a pair of 213 wedges. Can anyone advise what type of shaft I will need? .355 taper or .370 parallel?

I have KBS s-flex on them now and looking to go with a lighter shaft in r-flex. Nippon Zelos 8 or NS PRO 850 are top contenders at this point. Not sure what to put on the wedges (currently have Modus Wedge shafts) --any recommendations?

For context, my 6-iron swing speed is about 80MPH and goes about 160yds with average tempo/transition.

You will need to shim your shafts as hosel

Of 703 is 370. I use 355 shafts with shims in 703

No problems. The 213 will take a straight up 355 shaft

The zelos8 are nice if you like lightweight shafts. You can go

Stiff straight up or even hard step an s. The zelos8 is pretty soft

Even in s flex.

I do like lightweight shafts. Still have a set of 701s w/ GD 65 shafts which I ordered from Chris back in the day when TSG still carried Epon (2009 I think).

I guess only the Zelos 7 comes in both .355 and .370. The Zelos 8 only comes in .355.

Any thoughts on a lighter shaft for the 213?

I could say just look at my signature , I have the same speed and distance as you have , and this setup is great for me

Thanks -- I have a set of 701s with GD Tour Ad 65. I considered the Roddio Pentacross i6 for the 703s but I'd like to try a lightweight steel shaft first. If I don't like it, I'll consider another graphite set.

I tried the NS PRO 750 with the 703, but I liked the Zelos better in terms of stability.

I also play 503 with NSPRO 950 and 210's with NSPRO 950

One time I shafted the 503 with Recoil 95 but did not find it suitable for me.
