+TourSpecGolfer
Hey people! Interested in getting one of above drivers. Please either vote in the pole or reply with some comments of which you like the best or do both. Thanks in advance for voting. I think your missing some of the best drivers available in your poll. I assume your a solid player as a couple of the drivers you are looking at are not exactly user friendly. Don't be shame to move to a more forgiving bracket I'm just going to spout off some comments about some drivers: - Callaway Legacy Tour: Awesome compact driver, made by Endo Forged Ti, Its not forgiving but it's super pure for the better player. Also very long distance as rated by rating-gate JPN. - PRGR GN502 Tour 440cc: it's got the best face shape I have seen ever, It sets up really well. - Callaway Type S Driver: Still a players driver not suggested for the mid handicapper. I suggest this over the tour as its a bit more forgiving. Made well, feel is great, awesome distance. - Epon AF102: I highly suggest this driver custom built to your specs, very long, amazing feel, setup like 440 but its actually 460. Epon/Endo quality. - Yamaha Inpres V201 or Tour Model, both work for the better player. The Tour model will have a lower flight but more of a pure feel. Tour is only 430cc's sit's very compact, its rare. - Crazy CRZ-435 w/ LY TJ-46 Shaft! Highly suggested, I think this would be the longest driver of them all. Great DAT55G face that feels great. almost 440cc's - Kamui 456 or 420, dont overlook Kamui it's fully custom hand made in Japan, DAT55G face, can be setup to every spec you desire. - TourStage 703 Limited: Compact VERY Pear shaped great stock shaft offerings I suggest the DI-6. Nice medium high trajectory which is rare in such a small and compact package. Erase the other shafts in your poll and focus on the ones above. These are my top 4 that I'm considering.... see above quote Love the quality of the Epon offerings but expensive, Yamaha Inpres impresses me(LOL), Always a fan of TS but only comes in 9.5 and the Crazy is unproven........ I go back and forth on a daily basis. Edited March 24, 2010 by corky3
migoi
I think your missing some of the best drivers available in your poll. I'm just going to spout off some comments about some drivers: Chris, what is the word on the new Titleist Driver? I think they are calling it the GC3. Well, the reason I only picked these particular drivers, is because these are just the driver heads themselves. There were more to choose from, but I was only interested in these particular ones. Did some research, but wanted some more feedback. Also, when you said,"erase the other shafts...", you meant drivers right? jamnguy1
Kamui driver now in the bag. It just took over the spot that my tourstage driver with crazy shaft occupied.

Also, when you said,"erase the other shafts...", you meant drivers right? None of these drivers are available as heads only from the manufacturer, not even to us. Are you getting them as heads only? The XXIO does not really match in this group. Shallow face, long head, very closed face angle, aimed at the very average golfer while the others are for better players. The Legacy and Z-TX probably have the best feel in my opinion. The 440 has a very hot face too though and very good trajectory. All three are in my real loft test article. (actually its the Legacy Type S) and as the specs show, the 440 is actually the most penetrating launch.
shoutout33
Hey everyone, thanks for taking the time to reply to my post. My apologies for taking forever to reply to my own thread. :p Well, if this is for the better player, I'm not sure if its for me or not. When I was working with my club fitter last year, I was set on KZG Q driver. For those that don't know what it looks like, here's a linky: http://www.kzgolf.com/sites/courses/layout...&page=34119 So far, for me, what we've found out, is that as long as my stuff is fit for me, I can pretty much hit anything and (Not as consistently as I would like mind you...) since I'll be playing with KZG's blades, I'm pretty sure I'll be able to hit these drivers with some tweaking. Still have to finalize a few thing here and there with my driver specs though. Once I get final specs for irons and woods, I'll let everyone know what I've found. Thanks again for the replies. supo
Hey Chris!Well, the reason I only picked these particular drivers, is because these are just the driver heads themselves. There were more to choose from, but I was only interested in these particular ones. Did some research, but wanted some more feedback. Also, when you said,"erase the other shafts...", you meant drivers right? i found a 9.5* srixon z-tr shafted with a quadra 65xs fire express in a 2nd`s bin cpl of weeks ago for a great price(what on earth was the seller thinking???) bought it immeditaly.and in a word "bloodysensational", not quite a pear or a big box, the face looks terrific and it launches a lovely mid trajectory very straight shot. and its long. ishioka tom. for its uber test. i have no doubt about the results. and today i found and scooepd immedialty, an on-off 46d 2010 model with a pentacross 65 s ,and thats going to be sundays propulsion device. cant wait. i hit my mates lastweek and its a sensational driver. japan is great so many clubs so little time. differnt styles of clubs but they might just take over the bag. the adams 9015 now has some serious competition.
