Ball markers.....What & Why.

Recommended Posts

Just a random topic brought about from an afternoon at the shopping Center. I found myself looking through one of those small eclectic style gift shops, you know the ones...Fake Samurai Swords, Jack Danial paraphernalia, King Arthur's Sword, Jean Luc Picard's hearing Aid....etc etc. Anyway, I noticed a John Wick Continental Hotel Gold Coin, sort of cool if you like the movies.

Got me thinking on what can be used as a ball marker, funny how the golf problem solving part of the brain kicks in to gear at the most random of times right.......So, just wondering if anyone has or had any custom made japan forged...haha,  or utilize random other items for this job.

try to use anything FLAT -- as opposed to those Casino Chip markers.... which look good, but are not too practical.

When my ball is anywhere near another player's line I use the the old fashioned small plastic flat marker. This is the only one which not disrupt the roll of a player's ball.

I usually keep one casino chip style and one flat plastic in my pocket and use them depending on if I am close to someone else’s line or not.
