  1. Wish I didn't have big old boats for feet! Damnation!!!! Those are so sweet
  2. That shaft is sexy!
  3. I have the 1957 KM350 Blade with a UST Frequency Filtered shaft. The feel is very solid, although I've been limited to putting on carpet since we still have piles of snow here...
  4. Beth Bauer Rules!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  5. Choc boy, Ian is my favorite too. Of course there is Fred Couples, my man Billy Andrade, and the lovely Beth Bauer, but no one can top the gnarly Ian Poulter!!!
  6. This is a tip from Jack Nicklaus that I read in a Golf Magazine or Golf Digest article... At address, he said the buttons on your shirt should be lined up with the ball. He continued, saying that at impact, he tried to have the shirt buttons pointing well to the right of the golf ball. This will keep you from moving your head forward and also keep you from spinning out or coming out of the shot. I have really liked this drill. Only bad thing is that a lot of golf shirts don't have a collar or buttons anymore so if you're wearing a shirt like TW with the mock neck, you're kind of screwed.
  7. Sorry, I hit new post instead of post reply. This was meant as a reply to bjp's post about metro detroit golf
  8. Hey, I'm not from Michigan, but I travel to your area a lot for work. Specifically I travel to golf courses that implement a computer system that my company sells. A few guys that are customers of mine that I would reccommend are Justin Mathers at Mustic Creek in Milford. 248.684.3333 [email protected]. Glenn Busam at Boulder Pointe in Oxford. 248.969.1500 [email protected]. Larry Kuebler at The Coyote Preserve in Fenton. 810.714.3206 (don't have his email). Larry Hamilton at Oakland University in Rochester. 248.370.4150 [email protected]. Those are my suggestions for you, but take them with a grain of salt. I have never received instruction from these guys - I just know that they are good people and good at what they do. Hope this helps! ps If you give them a call you can tell them that Garth from Fore! Reservations mentioned that they might be able to help you out.
  9. Watched a little of the LPGA Tournament of Champions last night on TGC. A couple of the ladies, including Laura Davies and Karrie Webb, were using a putter I've never seen before. Looked like it had a red insert, black body, and silver back weight. Is this the new TM putter? Anybody got some pics?
  10. AA - you are a man's man for drinking Guinness, I can't get that stuff down. My post round favorites are as follows: Rolling Rock or RR Green Light (From Latrobe - Arnie's neck of the woods) Molson Light Red Stripe Miller Lite (Brewed in Wisconsin aka greatest state ever) New Glarus Spotted Cow (If you haven't tried it, try it) Canadian Club, Clan MacGregor, Dewars, or Cutty Sark & soda Lemon Lime Gatorade (This applies only if I just got done with 18 and want to go another 18 in the afternoon)
  11. I played paintball once when I was in college and loved it. We went with a busload of people and just had a blast. I got blasted in the neck by one - that hurt like a son of b$#th!! Also, my girlfriend shot me on the forearm - that one hurt my ego more than it stung though. Great fun, but I don't think I could do it very often as it would cut into valuable golf time.
  12. I've been practicing with left hand low a lot lately - it feels really solid. Is this dead now that we've got belly putters and Stan Utley teaching the correct release of the putterhead? Am I crazy for switching?
