  1. It's more of a consistency thing. In my RAC CB Miura's all of the s-300's were right on the money flexing at like 5.5, except for my 9 iron, which flexed at somewhere near women's flex. This would never happen to a pro, what is on the shaft is what they get. A lot use TT, but PX is also very popular. Nippon shafts are pretty light, so they don't get as much tour usuage.
  2. Hey can someone help me out real quick. What are the specs of the Mitsu Tour Iverx. Especially TQ. Thnx.
  3. Ziggy's got it right. The Red X is sweet. Just got mine back from the Custom Shop (will try to post pics when I get time) and in my first tournament round with added weight (up to 360 grams from 350) I rolled in 6 birdie putts, most of them in the 12-18 foot range. I love the GSS insert.
  4. Found today two r500 series left handed trivers. One 540 one 580. I noticed something odd about them. Neither driver had the "r" before the 580 and 540, respectively. Also the numbers were all black no yellow like the standrard retail. They were also underlined in black. The serial number on the 540 was "A-4" and the serial number on the 580 was "F-3" Does anyone know the deal with these. Also how much could i get for them. The 540 has a Fit-On Pro 95 in X. And the 580 has an Apche MFS KJ Choi shaft in S.
  5. I just received from a friend of mine a set of 1-SW 1981 Jack Nicklaus Muirfield Custom Grind blades that came from the Tour Dept. of Macgregor in 1981. I just have to say that these beauties are amazing and I would love to share them all with you. However, I have never posted pics before and need help doing so. Anybody want to help me out on this
  6. I don't know how much it cost to do irons, but go to www.blackoxideservice.com. Once I had a putter that was done there. They are in San Marcos, CA and they used to do the 3X black for SC putter studio.
  7. Don't get Flowmasters on a Vette. They are great on SUV's, trucks, other cars, but if you are gonna have the vette go for Borla's. IMO a much better exhaust system on that car. I have flows on my 2004 F-150 and they are great, but not on a vette.
  8. Personally I play the rescue mid 19* TP, which is a great club. I really like the MD as well, you can't go wrong with either. If you are going to go with a graphite shaft, I'd go with the Fuji 904, their new hybrid shaft, which is spectacular.
  9. Red Studio Dancing Cameron grip for my Red X If there is something you want to trade for (maybe a brand new red baby T) let me know Callaway GBBII 9.5/ Grafalloy Blue S Callaway Steehead Plus 4+ 15.5/UST 65 ATR TM Rescue Mid TP 19/Fuji Vista Pro 90 TM RAC CB Satin 3-PW/DG s-300 TM RAC Satin 56* 60* Scotty Cameron Red X 34" Titleist Pro V1x
  10. I have seen a a lot of studio stainless newports and a few red x's recently on ebay that have the 3x finish aplied aftermarket. I really like this, especially since it reduces glare on the studio and I was wondering if anone knows where to get this done. The sellers ahve said that they are using the same place that used to do it for scotty, but won't say the name. I was wondering if anyone knew
  11. I play the cb's with the satin finish and I hit them side by side with the 37 and he biggest difference for me was the satinf finish which I absolutey love. I have hit the 32's and they are sweet. I'd say you'd have to hit them side by side, but you can't go wrong with either.
  12. I like the putters. A few years back I went to a Stanford Golf Camp and Oberholser was the putting instructor and I remember him having a very similar putter. It is sweet.
