Nippon 1150 Question......Please help.
the-long-ball replied to the-long-ball's topic in Japanese Golf Clubs
Thanks for your help....your right on my SS. Its right at the 108-110 range. It used to be 114, but I aint in my 20's anymore. At 36 years old, 108-110 is much more manageable. I tried the KB Tours as well, (soft stepped 6.5) but that relationship didn't last long. -
Is the Nippon Heavy line available in "DOUBLE BEND type???

Nippon 1150 Question......Please help.
the-long-ball replied to the-long-ball's topic in Japanese Golf Clubs
So you're saying to NOT soft step, just play them as is?? Just to clarify?? -
I have played (and LOVED) the Nippon 1150 Stiff flex shafts. They are absolutely awesome, but they were just a little "soft" for me. So I am wanting to move up the the X flex. I have heard there is quite a bit of difference between these flexes. So do you guys recommend "soft stepping" these shafts. Like I said the S flex was slightly to soft, but I don't want to be shocked at how much stiffer the X flex is. Any advise would be great.....THANKS.
