  1. A stab in the dark, sure, but I'm wondering if it would be possible to find a set of RH Mizuno TN 87s for sale? PM me for any info.
  2. I've read Ballard's book, but it can confuse somewhat. His 'fire the right side' should probably be better understood as an effect and not a cause. Still, there are good pieces of information in How to Perfect Your Golf Swing. Ballard was probably the first to advocate a large muscle based swing. I also like George Knudson's Natural Golf, though it's not the 'Natural Golf' of the Moe Norman school. Knudson advocates a wide-ish stance, basically with the left foot just outside the shoulder, and focuses on weight transfer. The wide stance makes for both an easier weight shift and gets the hips out of the way. The book can be repetitive at times, but golf is about repetition after all. Another cool thing is that the book incorporates 'flip book technology' of a George Knudson swing. I've also read a few Byron Nelson books. He was after all the pioneer of the modern swing.
  3. Grips seem to be a problematic thing for me. Grip size really depends on how the club is held in the hand. Once I settled on a comfortable way to grip the club, more with a bias towards holding it in the fingers, I settled on a standard .600 core grip on a .600 shaft but. Technically, a static hand measurement says that I should use a mid-size, but I found with mid-size grips the 'release' didn't feel so great. So I think I've finally figured out that a standard grip is best for me and my swing. Also, I like a corded Wrap grip, as the Wraps help me get slightly more of my fingers and hence more grip on the,er, grip. Not crazy about the Dual Durometer grips. I don't like grips that will mute the response from the club head. But that's just me.
