  1. Nice pickup. The yonex mbs are the best looking blades I have seen!
  2. no problem always a pleasure to help. im sure others here will chime in and suggest some shafts for you. last resort would but the 9003 shaft in your 3wood. that would be a long combo.
  3. dale yor swing should never ever adapt to the shaft, its the other way around. if you find yourself swinging outside your normal comfort zone, its safe to say the shaft aint for you. play your new setup normally. bomb it if you must dont baby it and if you still have problems then the shaft simply doesnt suit your swing.
  4. you found the proto fex 65s too soft right? the torque is around 3.6 just the way you like it. the fex proto 75s is around 3.0 but roughly has the same cpm as the 65s. the 9003 is 3.2 torque. so like you im a bit puzzled. you seem to be looking for a heavier weight than the 65s yet same torque?
  5. beautiful! what are replacing your yonex and these?
  6. well the itsy bitsy spiders and the new ping neo mallets are all very easy to use. i however will not let my trusty bett ss6 outta the bag. the best putter i have used
  7. let me know bro. the kiyoshi is a killer shaft unfortunately even in a 65s it was too much low spin for me. you must be bombing it!
  8. Hi Dale for the driver or fairway wood. Usually shafts with that kind of torque Are in the 50-60 gram region, may be too light for you.
  9. T how would you rate the crazy versus the more high tech ryoma?
  10. Wow distance + forgiveness! Can't go wrong Were there any downsides to the crazy?
  11. Don't think he's selling em. I'm also considering a jbeam 435 or crazy 460 .
  12. If u guys thinking of upgrading to the new one, LE me know Il take our old one . Thanks

  14. Nice ! I'm still waiting on mine. Should have it next week. Btw nice DWD bag.
  15. Ara, I'm speechless! That's a candidate for post of the year! Seriously Great stuff and initiative for putting that up. Now if we could all compile Date and possibly add other brands if irons to the database that would be awesome. If there was a bowing down icon I would use three of them right now. Props bro!
  16. yup all that therapy and core strengthening and stretching paid off. i have this hamstring stretching exercise that i would add during my Pt routine. Trainer: Why do you need your legs beyond 90* while on your back me: for stronger more flexible hamstrings trainer: thats excessive and beyond normal range of motion. me: but its the same exercise luke donald uses before his game. trainer: who's Luke Donald?
  17. yeah i am defintely a 7.7. what i was using was a crazy black cb80 7.7 it felt fantastic, not stout at all and lively. this is what i am looking for mid lauch lows spin lotsa roll. i think this was before the nero and noir lines came out so i dont know what the equivalent model is. now if the TJ80 is stout then i will look at other shafts, stout shafts are no fun. priority for me is control, whats the point of a longdrive in the thic kstuff. willing to sacrifice some yardage. craig, this post would not have been around if i had not tried stews 425jbeam tour with the crazy shaft. that sucker was long, perfect size, perfect shape i just need a bit more forgiveness. maybe the 435? i launched that 425 perfectly, not too high but high enough to get the carry and lots of roll. i heard the 435s are a bit on the lowish side. how low is low? maybe get that head with a higher loft? suddenly things got so complicated. 4-5 different jbeams and 3-4 different crazies thats a lot of combinations. i was curious about the ryoma too but with all this talk of Jbeam seems like my choice has already been made. now if only i can decide on a model.
  18. ok guys i had my first foray with a jbeam 435 crazy cb80 noir 7.7 yesterday and i am hooked. crazy is my next driver and fairway wood shaft. thing is i am still a bit overwhelmed with the lineup. like looking for an expensive needle in the haystack so i want to do this right for obvious reasons. just a little info about myself i ss around 112-115 have a very aggressive fast tempo late release lag. and have a steep angle of attack. my current driver is a fex proto 75s which is getting loose and is on the high side mostly carry. now the cb807.7 noir is ok but i think i still lack control with it. im considering the TJ80 7.7. im not too concerned about distance, i just want to keep it in the fairway. will play it in a 44.5" driver. i want to feel the kick of the shaft , dont like boardy feeling ones. feel is important. TJ80 is my top pick but if you guys have other suggestions let me know. thanks carlo
  19. no doubt they are soft, the wedges i received were good, no different imho to other smaller scaled mom and pop boutique wedges. now as for attention to detail and quality Gocchin and TSg'er can better answer that. i do remember that chris was going to spill the beans on the mochis but dont think he ended up doing so:)
  20. great ! what an informative post, youve actually answered all the questions i wanted to ask about the maru variants. ive seen the 2003 and 2004 and i prefer the x wedge versions by a mile. the us versions lookied ok. as for the fe99.9 oh yes i even read that you had to check lofts every 3 months or so because of the softer finish. oh well its a worthy tradeoff. i defintely can tel they are softer, imagine them with a smoother feeling shaft! wow! looking forward to your pics of the maru timeline.
  21. juanseries posted 50/56 2010kgx wedges in the FS section hes looking for an egg 17, anyone wants to trade these + cash? or an outright purchase of an egg 17* current model. let me know. thanks
  22. im confused what are mine the black ones 04 or o5? the satin ones of Idrive are 2005? i heard about the pure fe thing but what exactly is it and whats the difference iwth the retail ones in terms of material? the 06 ones are the ai spec, specd ai miyazato. the specs are more manly than the marus:)
  23. ok had my first course session with this yesterday. they are indeed spinny, i like them very much. they are very good, defintely dig these over the db protos by a mile, they launch a bit higher though but i can easily fix that with a shaft change. i will also bend them flat by 1*, they are a bit upright. the dgx100 felt mediocre to anyone that has tried shimadas and the heavier nspros. i skulled a couple of shots using the 59* ! got a bit wristy with my greenside shots then i realized that the SW was c6.5, how very convenient to blame the specs haha. still debating to reshaft with my jspec tour issue s400s or the Nippon proto low launching 2s14x. if i learned anything from my experiences of late then the 2s14x it is. the protos are going to the spare bag for now.
